Many years ago I had some flooding, the company was then still Servicemaster. They didn't show up…read moreuntil the next day, never sucked out the water, only fans, resulting in mold damage. Moved my stuff into my backyard, didn't wrap or cover it, never moved it back or to a safe spot. Brought over a brochure about smoke damage, which the Technician (if you want to call him that) was unable to read, nor was he able to speak English. The owner Mike Hamdorf told me my Homeowners would pay for sure, but they would pay nothing, and then Hamdorf billed me several thousand dollars. Some friends of mine had some major flooding and their insurance covered theirs, but years later the house was foreclosed on and had special sale restrictions because almost the whole house was full of mold.

I recently had Miguel's crew paint the exterior of my A-frame in Mammoth. They did a superb job!…read more The crew worked hard and were on time every morning, were very friendly and really prepped the house well before applying paint. I've seen other painters power wash and spray a house and they're finished literally in one day. Not Sierra Paint and Drywall. Even though my house is small (1370 square feet) the crew were meticulous and took 6 days to complete the job. I would never use any other painting service in Mammoth. My highest recommendation!

The employees we worked with were all friendly and helpful. The store is an Ace Hardware store with the famous popcorn machine. It is nice to have a full service type lumber and hardware store in the eastern sierras. It is also nice to have a store who provides good customer service even with limited local competition.

We(Sierra Park Villas) contracted JDB for hardscape concrete retaining walls and some concrete…read morestairs. I do not recommend them for finish concrete work. 1. Jordan is very unprofessional in his behavior. During construction Jordan verbally abused one of our board members and two other owners who were present during a progress discussion. We had to ask him to leave the property. 2. Make sure if you use them that your plans are part of the details in the quote. We provided drawings and pictures with details documented. These were also submitted to the city and were approved as the details for the build. His bid ultimately did not reference this document which led to disputes on what was to be built. At one point we had to frame out one of the concrete walls ourselves to get the project done. 3. The concrete work is subpar. The main retaining wall, which was framed as a straight wall, is now curved. Their forms bulged during the setting process and they failed to correct it in time. The finish work, which was to be brushed concrete is a mess. Air pockets on the surface, deep form impressions and uneven surfaces is what we ended up with. When they came out to clean it up and make it right it just got worse. We paid them but I don't see us using them again unless they are willing to make it look like it should. Pictures don't lie.
