We had intended to bring the majority of the smaller moving boxes over the course of the week leading up to the "big move" which we hired John to handle. Unfortunately, we ended up with all the boxes (over 60 ) right Where they had been all week. Even with all the extra stuff that we asked him to move for us at the last minute, they managed to stay until 7:45 pm and get everything completed, and for what I thought was a very reasonable price for the additional boxes. We had one small chip that was broken off the foot of one of the dressers, and John offered to repair it himself, or pay for a professional if he was unable to return It to it's original state. Fortunately some adhesive and stain did the trick. I will say, however, that a couple of his employees look and act llike theyre convicts on work detail from the prison, or possibly recent parolees. They were hard workers but very crude mannered, and would Do well to display a more presentable image (especially when Working in peoples homes.) I'm all for second chances, but clean-cut and respectful employees leave a much better impression than those with a tough guy/intimidating image and a lack of general people skills, never mind their vocabulary which was a constant stream of profanity (which None of them seemed to think was inappropriate.) all in all, they did a great job and I would recommend hiring them, although it's worth mentioning to John that his guys need to be more professional in both appearance and attitude. Excellent Mover and Remover…read more Big John is just a friendly guy making an honest living. John came and gave us an estimate with a walk-through, price seemed reasonable compared to others. He was available the day we needed him, and his crew was also very friendly and helpful. His sister and the brothers were extremely hard working and efficient when moving items. We took a couple hours getting all our stuff out of the house, drove to a storage unit in Woburn unloaded for about 90 minutes, and then on to my parents house for the remainder of the items which took maybe 20 minutes. He then came back a couple days later to get rid of the all the junk and misc. items I did not want to store. I'd recommend this company to anybody looking to move items quickly, safely and efficiently anywhere in Mass or NH.
