He told me when I left that his haircuts are going to be $10 more if we come back to him. He said anyone else there can cut my hair next time if I don't want to pay the extra $10. Absolutely wonderful experience! Nate is a cool guy who treated me like a friend, and Lorena was friendly and did a great job with my mullet and putting lines around my ears haha. She enjoyed doing the cut which helped me feel comfortable and confident she was doing an incredible job. It came out as good if not better than i expected! I have been back and forth between haircut chains like Sports Clips and Big League my whole life, and I finally said "you know what, I need a classic cut, with people I can really talk to- I need to try out a real barbershop." So I booked an appointment and I asked Jimmy for a classic cut and that's exactly what I got. Jimmy hooked me up with a tried and true side part, and gave me a nice fade in the back that I wasn't able to capture, but it's perfect. I didn't give him any specifics, just that I wanted it shorter on the side and I wanted something vintage and classic, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is what really makes it. Just a bunch of dudes hanging out. No pressure to be anyone you're not, they'll have a laugh with anyone and give some sick mullets while doing it well-priced haircut done by guys who care about giving you a fresh cut you're gonna feel confident in. Rachel is fantastic. She's one of those artists who just knows how it should be and can make it happen. I won't go anywhere else even thought it takes me 40 mins to get there. Worth it. The shop is well-done. Nice atmosphere. Everyone is friendly, talkative and laid back but still focused on getting it right. Also, I like that I can make an appointment well in advance and they are on time. Finally, they are handling the whole covid-19 thing very well. Marcus has been cutting my hair for almost three years and every single time I walk out of the shop feeling great. His attention to detail is impeccable - while he may occasionally run five minutes behind it is obviously because he wants every haircut to be perfect and I would not have it any other way!
