Café 33 it is then! I wandered in to chalkboards, quirky signs and LOTS of Christmas decorations. ('Tis the season to be jolly and all!) It's eclectic and quirky! - Maybe a little bit much for some but I really loved the vibe. To me it felt very much like an old style cafe where you could sit and wile away the hours over a tea and cake. And there's lots of cake! Including gluten free options! They all looked delicious! The boards boast their gluten free meals and they aim to offer low-fat dishes where possible! I'm not sure if it's somewhere I'd head for an evening meal but as it got closer to 5, Café 33 showed no sign of getting quieter. It was bustling! And service was fast and friendly despite this. Whilst the cakes were tempting, I opted for my usual. (Chai latte, if you're asking!) I find that larger coffee chains can be a little too generous with the syrup and make theirs sickly sweet but Café 33's was a perfect mix of frothy milk, lovely chai tea and a generous dusting of cinnamon. Just the right amount of sweetness! So much so that I had a second! I'm sure I'll be back soon for my third!

It was agonising to have to make a choice!!! If I lived in Bridge of Allan I would make a point of visiting this cafe every week to try a bit of everything! There are savoury snacks and light lunches available too of course. I embarrassed myself hugely by knocking my full latte over the table and floor - what a mess!! The owner came over and quickly cleaned the table and floor before bringing me another latte - which she didn't add to the bill. Needless to say I was very apologetic and grateful. Definitely a lovely little cafe - and I can't recommend those wonderful cakes highly enough!!!

By far my favorite spot in stirling/bridge of allen. I wish I could bring this place back with me…read moreto the states. We honestly became addicted to coming here. The service almost always was super attentive and always made sure we were taken care of. 10/10 recommend the millionaire bars they were almost always delicious and moist I also think it might depend on the baker whose baking too which batch and cutting the bars and desserts because somedays the pieces are different or taste just a little bit better but regardless always tasty! However the only one we did not like surprisingly was the carrot cake. It was just weirdly dense not cakie and like juicy its a bit weird to explain but just wasnt our favorite. Everything else though awesome and the food is just superb! I think my favorite was the vegan fry or haggis toastie if you like a bit of sweet and salty combo! If you go on the weekends however I do recommend having a booking or you most likely wont get in till later in the day. I'll miss you hideaway the best food!

Having had brunch here previously, heading here for lunch was something I was excited about. It was very busy this time round so service was understandably a little slower. We did have a short wait for a table but it really wasn't long till we were seated considering it was peak lunching hour. Oh my word. Sandwich heaven. I had the bacon and mozzarella baguette with hot salsa and guacamole and it was absolutely delicious. Lots of cheese, lots of bacon, lots of yum. The Hideaway is just the perfect spot for tea and cake, I definitely want to sample their baked goods soon. Very, very soon!

I would give it 5 stars for this, super cozy mugs also. But, we got sandwiches and they were tasty but a bit dry... the cheese/ha sandwich could have had a bit more filling and my pesto-sundried tomatoes-cheese grilled sandwich had a lovely taste but the bun was too dry, unfortunately! But, then again, the drinks were soooo soooo good for today's winter day! SO 4 stars, here you go!

(Tip well guys! :P) This place has got a very chilled out, laid back vibe. It's the kind of place after you've been a few times, they remember your order and your favourite seat. The coffee is reasonably priced BUT remember to flash your student card for a little extra discount! Also, if you buy a coffee before 10am you get free refills all day which was always a great incentive for me to be up and at 'em before the morning rush! There is also a good selection of cakes and snacks on offer (the cheese and bacon toasties are delish!) and soup for lunchtime hunger pangs. They also have a reasonable selection of soft drinks and milkshakes on offer and an amazing selection of weirdly named teas (try the Magic Tea, it's a revelation.) It's also open til 8pm which is a bonus! The Burgh is also available for events too - I've attended group German lessons there, a Lush party, an SSP meeting, an open mic night and even had a tutor hold a seminar in the place. I'm pretty sure it's free to book so it's great for wee gatherings in a nice cosy setting. There's a vast selection of board games on offer too, as well as hundreds of donated to books to simply flick through or to buy with a donation. Free WIFI too - it became my study sanctuary for a year or too! Settle in to one of their comfy sofas or their more private booths and drift away with a Gingerbread Latte - bliss!
