No idea where to go for dinner as we are starting to miss Filipino food during this holiday.
We hopped on the underground and after a bus ride we arrived. The staff is super friendly and we chatted after we had placed our order. For starters we had the pork spring rolls with a different twist using pineapple in the sweet and sour sauce. It works well. We ordered ginger tea which was made with real ginger (if you like ginger beer then this is the drink for you).
Crispy pata is a must and it was good. It was leaner which was also different in a good way. Aubergine bistec was very delicious and my wife commented that she has never tasted anything like it before (she enjoyed it very much).
As a treat we met with Chef Rommel and his wife Claudine. They are both very personable. We were given an opportunity to taste chef's latest creation "Sapin Sapin" a three layer Filipino dessert; ube, langka (Jackfruit), and coconut.
Five stars all the way...
So when in London make sure to go here if you're in the mood for some Filipino food. read more
