We rolled into the LA Art-walk hungry and my buddy insisted we seek this Philly cheesestake stand out of the crowd of food trucks and stands. The food looked great cooking on the grill and the smells were up to snuff. They offer several types of meats either on a roll or over fries. I opted for the latter. The beef was thinly sliced with grilled onions and provolone cheese. They slathered the concoction over the fries and there you go.... it looked amazing! WaWaWa, looked good tasted bad, the texture and flavor was overly fatty and just not up to cheesesteak goodness. Next

I forgot to write a good review for Mamae's Cooking, when they have visited the Eastvale's winter community event last year. I am trying to make up for them by writing a good review, so that people who reads my comment will know that they are caters, and travels to any events in Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. The food was great, I have tried the Phili Cheese Steak and Beef with Cheese fries. The food were cooked very well and I tasted a juicy beef inside my mouth. The price for two dishes were at right price and I wanted to order some more but my stomach was already full. I ended my craving with drinking a can of soda. I had a good time eating their prepared meal in a cold weather. I lost the feeling of winter breeze while I was eating the hot meal. If they stop by at your local event, and see them serving their delicious food, I will recommend to people to try to eat their food, and add more comments. They need support from us, the local people. So that they can expand their catering business in Southern California. I just happened to support them by giving them a 5 stars and good comment. Thank you for preparing a good food and coming to Eastvale, Ca. I hope to see you guys soon.

First time trying the cheesesteak fries - wow. Salty fries and gooey cheese. Yum!

They have giant al pastor spinning but most of the meats are already cooked in the metal tins. One potato per order now. The meats were tender with asada being my favorite here. I'm picky, but Ave 26 delivers every single time. It's super affordable, open 24/7, and there's always plenty of parking, which is a huge win in LA. Plus, it's honestly one of the best spots in town for people-watching while you eat. Let's talk favorites. My absolute must-order is their al pastor burrito with everything. It comes loaded with tons of smoking hot, perfectly seasoned al pastor meat, melted cheese, and incredible flavor. To top it off, they have a solid lineup of tasty salsas and spicy condiments to customize every bite just how you like it. Whether you're wrapping up a late night out or looking for the perfect spot to celebrate after a Dodgers game, Ave 26 has got you covered. Get out there after the win and grab a burrito -- you'll thank me later.

Worth the hype!!!! So many foodies have recommended this…read morespot and I already cannot wait to return. I hear the line gets insane here, but we got lucky on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm and were able to order right away. I ordered the carne asada burrito with cheese added and it was incredible. They handed me an open face tortilla covered in meat, had me add my own toppings at the condiments table and then they wrapped it up real tight for me. It was massive and lasted me two meals. My friend ordered the al pastor burrito and there were massive chunks of pineapples added on top. She was a fan! Next time I will try the tacos, as that is what this spot is known for. Despite this being a taco stand, there was a decent selection of provided chairs and tables. We took our food to go, but lots of patrons were eating outside. Sorry no photos, I ate my food too fast :)

It smelled amazing and everyone working there is super nice. The tacos are $2 & filled with meat. I ordered 4, but only finished 2 and the next day the corn tortillas held up so well after I reheated it. Which is solid because most street tacos tortillas will usually fall apart. They had option of hot sauces, including a mild cactus hot sauce. Also a variety of toppings you can stick In a little bag instead of using those plastic ramekins. This is a cash only establishment but they take Venmo. I will absolutely be back more often since I usually never have cash on me, which is why I didn't go over before. This is truly such a LA Vibe for amazing street food.

Nonetheless, the pastor was still amazing and it's great that they add copious amounts of meat on there. The various toppings and hot sauces are also very delicious, albeit the light orange mayo looking sauce is SPICY and unassuming...beware! Light green avocado looking sauce definitely saved my life. My friend also got a burrito and I heated it up the next day to enjoy and it still tasted awesome. My review might be slightly skewed as Mexican food is depressing up in Canada so any semblance of authentic Mexican food gets me going. I will have to return to LA soon...just for the tacos here.

I do like how they grill their meat though and they use the tortillas to scoop up the meat on the grill. Thought the al pastor was a bit salty and the cheese did not add much flavor to it, but that's probably a good thing considering the saltiness of the meat. Also, make sure you ask them for pineapples since they did not include it until we asked. They do have them sliced up in a container by the meats. Ambience is very casual and it's a stand while eating type of situation. Service was quick.

*** Cash or Zelle only ***…read more Alejandra's Quesadilla is a food cart located in Echo Park (more specifically right next to LADOT Lot 643 - 1147 Echo Park Ave). The food cart specializes in blue corn quesadillas. The food cart has been around for 20 years and is now run by Alejandra's daughter. [Parking]: Metered street parking is available or just park at LADOT Lot 643. [Atmosphere]: Takeout only and our party ended up eating the quesadilla in my car. [Ordering]: One of the ladies took my order and another lady did the grilling. Once the quesadillas are ready, customers can add various condiments like cactus, mild salsa, red salsa, and cilantro. The cart is quite popular and our party had to wait approximately 15 minutes on Sunday at 6:15 PM. All quesadillas are cooked to order and the lady manually pressed every blue corn tortilla by hand. [Menu]: The cart offers chicken, pork, chorizo, squash blossoms (flor de calabaza), chicharrón, potato, and huitlacoche (corn smut, or the "Mexican truffle"). Customers can mix and match fillings like chorizo and potato. *** Squash Blossom Quesadilla ($8): The order came with an extra piece of skirt steak. This quesadilla tasted much better than I had expected and it was actually quite delicious. I was a big fan of the mild green salsa and it definitely enhanced the overall flavor. *** It was an unexpected street food find and I can actually see myself revisiting this food cart and try different quesadilla options whenever I am in the Echo Park area.
