It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

Next, we asked our wonderful server Joyce for two mushroom/swiss burgers served with fries. These burgers were prepared perfectly with seasonings and burger temperatures and included a lot of mushrooms. These burgers restaurant has a cool vibe with and old gas station feel. Before leaving, Brandon, chef and owner stopped by to say hello. Such a friendly place with a wonderful menu. We'll be definitely back. Thank you Joyce and Brandon!

Our drinks never sat empty and our dirty dishes were promptly cleared. I ordered 10 traditional wings with ranch and carrots. I picked 5 mild and 5 garlic parmesan. Honestly, this garlic parmesan was probably the best I've ever had. They put garlic butter on the wings and then sprinkle parmesan cheese over them. This is so different than most parmesan garlic sauces and I was very happy with it. The pricing seemed fair for a small town as well. You also get a basket of popcorn as soon as you sit down which was perfect to snack on. Overall, nothing special but I felt the wings were great.

We also had the white pizza and buffalo quesadilla with the sweet hot sauce. Both were very good. When we walked in, it was clearly a sports bar and they give you popcorn when you are seated. Plenty of televisions to watch whatever sporting event may be happening at the time. There were plenty of tables in the dining area and what appeared to be a whole other seating area at the bar and behind to main seating area. Overall, a pleasant experience.

WTF!!! The wings were not cooked long enough. And my side of veggie strips were just raw celery and carrots. I decided to add a bit to my order and got a regular fries and the fried corn. At that point, I was requested to pay and the cashier pushed a cup my way asking if I wanted to tip. I declined. I'm not sure where the entitlement has come from, but I tip for service, not because someone expects it. I'm not sure handing someone a bag warrants a tip for service.Had she given me even a moderate level of service, I might have considered it. The places that make no effort to upsell amazes me. I was given no consideration, having no idea where or if condiments were available, and was never offered to purchase a drink while I waited. Everything was kind of flat, but she expected a tip. The cashier was on the phone while I was at the counter, and it seemed like a personal call. As a result, I got no help beyond grunts as I ordered. The whole place was kind of flat and non descript, just a cold waiting room. The fried corn turned out to be not worth the effort or the price. For $4.19, I got about 5 slices of corn, with maybe 3 rows of corn on each one. The spice was hot and heavy, completely overtaking any corn flavor. The fries were about average at $3.49. They were also average in flavor, not bad but certainly not great. The chicken gave me the same feeling. I'm not sure the meal was worth $16 for what I got. Some of the chicken was fine, but about half of the pieces were small lumps, and just not that good. The seasoning was acceptable, but there was nothing that hit me as outstanding or worth double digit prices. A little customer service would have gone a long way. As it is, I wouldn't go back and couldn't recommend it to anyone else.
