Omg!!!!! CAN YOU SAY ALOHA!!!!!! meet Frank and Mary, the most lovely people you could ever be so fortunate to meet! In the heart of Maui, these folks are serving up some Authentic Puerto Rican food with Aloha mixed in every bite! Located in an industrial area, dont be fooled, and dont overlook this gem! Please place your order in advance, as they dont do walk-in's...they were so lovely as we were unaware of the pre-order policy...they gave us 2 pasteles and some rice with gandules that was extra they made.....what a treat!!!

I think they're called Empanadillas!

You'll find a gorgeous array of fresh, organic, mostly Maui-grown fruits and vegetables, packs of cut fruit, baked goods made in-house, a juice bar/deli (very popular at lunch time; order ahead if pressed for time!), and all the canned, frozen, refrigerated, and packaged items you expect in a natural food store. There's also a great bulk section, where you can dispense your desired amount of various nuts, grains, snack mixes, coffee beans, etc. The supplement section is well stocked and features a good selection of protein powders. Greeting cards, small gifts, T shirts, and personal care/beauty items are available as well. A small seating area outside the entrance is convenient but could benefit from some umbrellas or canopies to provide shade on hot sunny days.

There's nothing special about the deli food anymore. Most of it looks the same, trays of mushy food that are either dried out or they're out of half the items. I went in for soup today and all three soup containers were practically empty and burnt at the bottom. Most of the deli food looked dry and like it had been sitting there way too long. I went upstairs to eat and the dining area was really dirty too. I'm not sure if there's new management or what, but this place definitely needs a serious boost, and fast.

Everything on the menu is served all day except the breakfast so of course we had to come back. Staff is amazing and so friendly. They were great at explaining the menu and our options. I do have to mention that the breakfast staff was more on it with the water. The food was pretty standard for breakfast. After my cousins egg white omlette came, I wanted that. It looked so good. The mushroom omlette that I ordered was okay. It could have been better. The eggs were not fluffy but hard and overall a little tasteless. Maybe adding some garlic or garlic salt as I dont really care for ketchup on my mushrooms. The bacon & cheese saved the omlette and it was funny that I ordered light cheese and got a whole lot of it! It was good after adding salt and pepper. I dont recommend ordering the Lebowski unless you have a light appetite. It only gives 2 peices of meat. A little sad there was no fried rice. Overall, staff was great, food was good and the restaurant is very bright and open. Maybe I'll order my usual next time (Eggs Benedict). I'm rarely disappointed with that.

Marco's was just what we were craving. The food here is fresh, delicious and the portions are huge! They have an extensive menu of favorites and specialties. We enjoyed their seafood linguine, lasagna, a veggie hero and some french onion soup. All were spot on delicious. Service is outstanding, friendly and special orders are no problem. Marco's primarily caters to the local community. Reservations are not required. However, a good appetite and a love of Italian cuisine is definitely required. Highly recommend.

Even though we had the worst experience here we continue to shop here because they have what we need. As for attitude its like they dont like there job or it could be the fact that I aint filipino so they dont treat me like the rest of the filipinos that come in. like i said the store is awesome but the staff needs an attitude check. Ever since then, this is the place I go because it is clean, lots of variety and single mom friendly prices. The have a plethora of fresh fish in large coolers on ice. When I say on ice, I mean on ice. NOT swimming in melted ice, but literally on ice. They have from opelus, mahi mahi, tilapia and more! I've been lucky to come across some fresh Moloka'i prawns here for a reasonable price. They also have a huge inventory of Filipino products from frozen to "fresh". I've gone here for some delicious longanisa, dilis (baby anchovies), vegetables and preserved items. Not to mention the Filipino desserts waiting at the check out counter enticing you to buy some for the drive home. I'm guilty of purchasing cascaron on a stick and wolfing it down as I'm driving out of the parking lot. On my last visit here I also see that they offer Western Union services too! Don't expect too much "friendly" service upon entry. It's really a self service market. But if you do need help finding anything, they'll assist you.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

The food was great and so was the service. The prices were good and the portions were generous. I had shoyu chicken and my husband had ribs. Neither one of us were able to finish ours and we wanted to because it was delicious. The meat just fell off the bone. I did order a piece of cake to go. After getting back to our room I realized it was an ice cream cake so even as full as I was I tried to eat some cake before it all melted. The had the place decorated all up for Christmas. The lady that waited on us was super nice and kept our drinks filled. I love that attention.
