I went to Sydnee's Pet Grooming for the first time today to get my 54 pound golden retriever bathed…read moreand was quite disappointed in their lack of transparency for pricing. What I expected to be a $80-90 trip ended up turning into ~$150. When you go to Sydnee's booking portal online, a large dog bath is quoted to be starting at $75 for a dog within the range of 51-75 pounds. However, upon completion they charged me $100 for the bath. This would fall into the XL dog range, which did not make sense to me at all. I called the shop back to clarify why there was a such a huge discrepancy in price and they answered that my dog's coat is extra thick so they charge more for labor, which was never mentioned on the website. Also, I will post a picture of my golden for you guys to determine if her coat is "extra thick" or not. I think not. I also got a de-shedding treatment for my pup which was quoted to be $15. However, I was charged an extra $15 because of the "extra time"it took to do the de-shedding treatment. The bath time window they give online is 3 hours. I dropped my dog off at 11:55 and picked her up at 3:20 (they called me at 3:04 for pickup). What extra time is there? We were in the allotted time window for the bath and the lady on the phone even said that they started on my dog late so it should have taken even LESS time. At the end of the day, it's only a bit of a difference in price so I didn't give them a hard time, but I wish I had known about the extra fees that they hide in the bill. Just be wary of coming here because they will try to sneak things in! The work they do is average but the price is roughly DOUBLE. P.S. they had the audacity to show me a tip screen after I paid, which added another ~$15 on top of my bill.

We called Monday to confirm they took walk in appointments for nail trim only. On the phone they…read moresaid, "Yes, bring your dog anytime after 10. No appointment needed." On Wednesday I called at 2:30 out of courtesy and asked if I could bring my dog in for a nail trim in about 45 minutes. On the phone, they said, "Yes, 45 minutes is perfect. I will let the groomer know!" When I arrived, there was no one to greet me so I rang the bell and whoever was grooming the dogs in the back yelled out at me that she knew I was there. She asked if I had an appointment and I told her about my phone conversation. The groomer (without even greeting me in person) yelled again from the back that she would not be able to give my dog a nail trim, she had too much to do, and it would not happen today. I left knowing I would never visit this business again. If someone would treat a customer in that way, how would they be treating the dogs? No thank you.

Bathing Beauties is a wonderful dog grooming service! I've been using them ever since my…read morefather-in-law reccomended them. First of all, they come to you! She has a large trailer that is fully decked out for dog grooming- complete with the doggy bath tub, anti-shed shampoos, doggy treats, the blow dryer, grooming table, etc! It's easy to make an appointment, then she shows up, and you can do whatever you need to while she grooms (I normally clean my floors since the dog won't be walking on them and getting in the way!) My dog hates water, so I was nervous the first time. My dog instantly fell in love with Cindi. I went with him for the first bath- and he did super well- she made sure he was comfortable and that it was a great experience. Ever since then, he gets excited when she shows up and loves getting baths! The prices are super reasonable- and the anti-shed shampoo works well- my dog sheds like crazy- but after seeing her, it really stops for a few weeks. Anyway, I recommend Bathing Beauties- for personalized service, convenience, and price! You can't beat it!!

But he's a hairy pup and needs professional haircuts (otherwise, he would look shaggy and homeless)! Bathing Beauties is our new solution, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Cindi arrived at our home to take care of Yuki and his needs. She immediately greeted him and was very patient with his shy personality. I showed her some photos of what I wanted Yuki's haircut to look like, and she took care of everything else. With Cindi's service and business model, Yuki received a lot of praise and attention. The price is extremely reasonable and totally worth it! There were no other distracting pets or noises, and I felt reassured knowing he was carefully watched and monitored. His haircut is simply adorable, and he looks so incredibly handsome. My family and I are very happy with Cindi's service and Yuki's new hairdo. Highly recommended!!
