I can't even begin to describe the professionalism and dedication Sonya exhibited throughout our entire process. She went above and beyond to help us choose a venue, scope out the venue, and make sure the timing of the photo shoot was appropriate for our specific situation with our specific needs. She truly personalized the whole experience. Additionally, when we faced some difficult events outside of our control, she was so quick to respond and flexible with our situation. The photo shoot itself was very streamlined. She came prepared for our pup and our family needs. We had a great time with our guy; Sonya captured his essence and his personality in ways that I could never even come close with my iPhone. She captured precious moments between my young daughter and my aging best friend. I am so grateful to have these photos to remember our good boy. read more

Sonya is an amazing professional and was the most prepared photographer we've worked with for our family portraits. Her patience is incredible, which was important with our current pair of rescue female Great Pyrenees that came from troubled pasts and abuse by women. She quickly gained their trust as can be seen in the results. Much thanks to Sonya for creating such as great experience for us. read more

For us pet parents, we want the absolute best for our four-legged children, and that includes treasuring every moment we possibly can with the limited time we have together. For this reason, choosing to have our portraits professionally taken seemed like a natural choice--but for a geriatric dog with anxiety and medical issues, finding the right photographer was imperative for both of us. For all intents and purposes, Sonya was the absolute best, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Shortly after inquiring about an appointment, Sonya was quick to respond and answered all of my questions. She took the time to ask about my dog--what makes him comfortable, his experiences with other people, and more. Her quick response time and warm communication assured me that the experience would go smoothly. Of course, on the day of the photoshoot, both my dog and I were nervous. We're new to the world of photography, poses, and whatnot--and with my dog's anxiety around new people, keeping him both comfortable and photo-ready was my top priority. Sonya greeted us with such a gentle and kind demeanor that my dog quickly began to trust her and was soon ready to embark on his new modeling career. I chose a remote location, Citrus State Historic Park, based on Sonya's portfolio and her recommendation tailored to my preferences for the final portraits. She completely understood my vision and knew exactly where to go for the best lighting and backgrounds. We took a lot of pictures, and by the end of the day, both my dog and I had gotten our exercise--and I left excited to see the final shots. Within just a few days, Sonya shared a preview gallery and even helped me narrow down my favorites--a nearly impossible task! Needless to say, the portraits came out beautifully, and I now have a framed work of art on my desk so I can always have my little boy close, even when he's not beside me. To fellow pet parents: I felt absolutely confident choosing Sonya for this experience, and the end result exceeded all my hopes. From the first message to the final product, everything was seamless. Thank you, Sonya, for giving me and my dog this unforgettable memory. read more

Sonya was amazing! From the beginning of the process, to booking the appointment, to the actual day of the shoot and in between, she communicated well and was so friendly. She is so patient, kind and loving towards both pets and humans!! She interacted so well with Koa and went above and beyond in making sure puppy and owners were comfortable. I really appreciate her kindness and generosity. She was professional and very respectful as well. Her expertise was so fun to watch too as she uses different techniques to get Koa to do different things. I'm looking forward to working with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a shoot for their furry baby!! She is definitely one of a kind and her passion and heart shines in what she does. The photos were too adorable!! read more

I had Sonya come to my home for a photography session with my cat, Papi, who had terminal cancer. Years ago, I had previously used another pet photographer and the photographer was so expensive that I couldn't even purchase anything other than a few small prints and she didn't interact well with my cats. Sonya, however, has a long history of working with animals besides being a photographer. Sonya was able to bring out the playful side of my cat and capture gorgeous shots. I can't express my gratitude to her and the gift that she gave to me of these lasting images of my cat. Sonya's prices were so reasonable and I was easily able to buy portrait sized photos to have framed. Sonya was the upmost professional and I would highly recommend her services. read more

We contacted Sonya to photograph our foster litter of 7 puppies and our 2 young children. The whole process was so enjoyable and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was always available for the million questions and ideas that I had. Sonya is very organized and she planned for the best day/time/weather for our shoot, you can tell she really cares about her clients and her work product. Day of the shoot, she was such a trooper, because let me tell you, working with a whole litter of 6 week old puppies running around along with two kids ages 5 and 7 is no easy task!! Sonya was extremely accommodating and patient for the entire 3.5 hours, which ran way over her normal shoot time. The pictures we got were beyond adorable - she was able to capture some really precious moments. Absolutely the BEST photographer we could have chosen for this, hands down!! read more

The session was fun and the pictures turned out beautiful. Sonya did a wonderful job with our dogs. My Shih Tzu had a photoshoot for her first birthday and the picture are amazing. She had a great time with Sonya. We also did picture of our 3 other dogs. She was equally wonderful with our 5 year old English Mastiff, 10 year old pug, and our 2 year old Shihpoo. I was very impressed how she worked with our Shihpoo. She is a nervous dog and very shy of people she isn't familiar with. Sonya was able to capture beautiful pictures and was very patient and kind with her and all our dogs. I will use her again in the future and would highly recommend for your pet photographer needs. read more
