Once inside and seated, the waitress took our orders and told us to help ourselves to the salad bar. It was a decent salad bar, not overly large but large enough to get a varied salad. The side bar had a selection of dressings, butter, croutons and rolls. No Ranch dressing, but they did have bleu cheese. The Scot had ordered a hamburger topped with a fancy french cheese and chutney, I'd ordered their chicken and rib platter, just to see how they did on barbecue. It didn't appear to be that busy, but the food seemed to take a while to come out. When it came out it was good. The Scot said his burger was rich, especially the cheese, which was super ooey-gooey. My chicken was juicy and the ribs were good, but not fantastic. But the fries.. OMW the fries were perhaps the best I've ever had. They were triple cooked I think with a sage seasoning on them.
