When I told the Bright Eyes Team Member which pair I was looking to order, they explained to me that they didn't have the sunglasses in stock and that they had to order them. I was told that I would receive a call when they arrived... Couple days later I received a call and was told that the sunglasses had arrived. When I came in to try on the glasses, I was told that I needed an appointment. I was obviously unhappy because I was never told I needed an appointment. I told the Bright Eyes team member that I would go somewhere else and as I was walking out the door, the receptions said in a very condescending manor, to "have a nice day". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I was getting fuzzy vision (damn flourescents), and headaches after a full day of work... so needed to do something. Checked my faithful YELP like always, and found Bright Eyes fairly close, and well reviewed! Called and made an appointment! When I arrived, I was promptly taken back to see Dr. Nate... who was professional and friendly, and asked what I needed, and what my expectations were. After discussing this... he did some of the usual tests.. and gave me a prescription for some computer glasses that focus at my preferred working distance. I then went to their frames area and picked out frames, and lenses. Even gave them a special anti glare, anti blue light coating. Nice selection of frames also. A few days later, picked my new glasses... and am very happy with the results. No more headaches... no more fuzziness! Everything is sharp and clear again! Highly recommended!

Great place for both my children and I to get eye exams…read more My two sons, who are five and almost 8 now see Dr. Lee, and she is fantastic. I had my five year-old's appointment today, I'm glad they open at 8 AM because we were in and out of there with him getting to daycare by 9 AM. My five-year-old is very energetic. I feel like everyone who saw him did a great job directing his energy at the task at hand. It is not easy to give a five year-old an eye exam, but I felt like they did everything they normally do with me and didn't find it daunting to make sure he was paying attention. I really appreciate it how they took the time to answer all his questions and just genuinely seemed to find him interesting and not annoying. Dr. Lee did a good job keeping up a study stream of speech to occupy his attention while conducting the exam. At the end of the day, his eyesight fell into the realm of normal, but it was really great to have this full check since it is a very quick one of the pediatrician. I really appreciate how they automatically make an appointment for you next year at the same time. In the waiting room they have toys, I actually think the toys were new because I didn't see them at my older son's check last year. It was a great addition because my younger son happily played with the toys until he was called back, which wasn't that much time at all. If you are looking for an Eye Doctor for either yourself or the kids, I highly recommend this one.

Citrus Park EyeCare is no different than any other small EyeCare business. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's certainly not a great thing. Sometimes it's best to go with what you know. My experience was just lukewarm. I did not go for an eye exam, for all I know they may have an outstanding staff of Doctors, I cannot speak for that. My only objective was to purchase a new pair of glasses maybe even two. I was able to find two solid options that matched my criteria. Prices are comparable to other EyeCare places, the buy one get one at 40% off is not a bad deal. Though I was able to find my glasses I still wish they had more of an inventory. My prescription has been the same for some years now. I wanted a pair with tint and one regular. Ended with only the regular pair due in large to poor salesmanship from the office staff. As I'm about to pay for my glasses, I'm getting questioned on my current RX by the lady in the front desk. Not to nitpick but I just wasn't diggin the tone nor the body language. From past experiences I see EyeCare centers tend to do this often (question your RX) to add on to your bill... I get it, but that doesn't excuse the subtle attitude, there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. I found it unprofessional. My RX is not only minor but it's good for another two years, that's all there is to it. No need to sweat me over something insignificant. Anyway.. My glasses came back from the lab in less than a week. Only problem was they arrived w/o the anti-glare that I paid for. Teri was kind enough to call and explain the error and said they'd be ready in four business days. Long story short, they were still not ready in the end. I was forced to call and get out of character on the phone. Mistakes happen, but the bottom line is they were supposed to have my glasses ready on time. Having to travel that weekend, meant I'd have to wait another week to get my glasses. That was a problem. Despite Teri being in the center of this mishap. She went out of her way to pick up the glasses to ensure my satisfaction, that's great Customer Service. Not to bash anybody, but she outperformed everyone IMO. Final thoughts... I am happy with my glasses. In the end that's most important to me. Still, CPE appears to be for a different type of crowd. The location is good, plenty of parking. Hours of operation not so great. Closed by 5pm most weekdays and closed on weekends. 2.5 stars for CPE, 5 stars for Teri.

However, I'd the frame selection better than other places so I gave another store a chance. I had no problem when I bought the glasses a very professional gentleman helped me. He said I could come back at any time for any adjustments after I pick up the glasses. I picked up the glasses and the sales lady even ask me to sit down for the adjustment. She made a couple of minor adjustments and I was on my way so I said I can come back to get an adjustment correct? She said yes. Three weeks later I was of citrus Park so I stopped in for an adjustment. The gentleman who had helped me initially started working on my adjustment when I suppose it was the manager came over and told him to help someone else and he would take care of it. He made me stand up and moved to the other side of the bench and seemed to be impatient with . After several adjustments he told me the why would not work. I used to be an optician. I used to lab. I also worked in an optical lens facility. Vision Works should not tell people they can come back for an adjustment if they don't want to take the time to do it. You don't have to tell lies, you don't give people the rush. I finally walked out in frustration. Do not from Visionworks. I was asking for some very simple adjustments and I got attitude. Maybe just don't like old people.

I recently learned that Dr. James Cancelleri retired, and I could not have been more relieved for every other patron at Lenscrafters in Citrus Park Mall. Every visit to that location was torture and it wasn't until looking around the area when I finally realized that I could be going to a completely different optometrist for the same cost with much higher quality results! I loved my last experience with Dr. Kristine Le. I was also able to reunite with the tech who years ago taught me how to wear contact lenses! I was so excited to learn that Felix had moved from Lenscrafters and was working at my new favorite optometrist's office. I will say, I didn't love my experience with the "sales" person who helped me with my glasses post-exam, but I get the feeling she just didn't love her job. Not a ding on the entire establishment, just hopeful that she finds and pursues her passion, since this is clearly not it. Happy to see Felix and happy to be in the hands of an optometrist who cares about her clients and provides accurate and effective diagnoses.
