I needed a monthly rental until I found a new home in the city I relocated to. I only used/rented…read morethe unit for two months. And within those two months, mice damaged/infested my mattress, protector, and other belongings. I found damage/evidence on 50% of my things. The staff would not give me a refund and instructed me to go through the insurance company. I also had to kill a mouse on my U-Haul; I was tempted to not even bring the things into my new home. To make matters worse, they knowingly had mice and did nothing to make sure I felt comfortable and to alleviate the stress of my relocation." And I say knowingly because the manager said that they had been trying to get someone out to exterminate the mice but was unsuccessful. This was the worst experience.

I have been trying to get my stuff out since August and each time what is owed is changing even though I was not the one who opened the account with them. The Salvation Army Veterans services took away my right to decide where my belongings went and then caused late fees by not being on time with the agreement made with this place. People who are on a fixed income and or disabled avoid this place because they are not going to work with you or help you keep your property.
