I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.

I didn't know it, but I had also snapped a wire inside the chandelier. All fixed in no time, including the chandelier I assumed would need replaced but Ken fixed this too! We also discovered some wiring that contractors did while remodeling my kitchen that was not done correctly. Ken quickly fixed this as well as rectifying a 3-way I thought would never work correctly again, (this caused by same contractor mishap). This took a lot longer, but I am very grateful for his assistance in resolving all these issues. We will be calling Ken for any of our future electrical needs and recommending him to our friends and family.

He replastered 2 ceiling holes, and 2 holes by my banister left by the guy who repaired it, and he repaired a huge crack in the ceiling above the stairs that I didn't even ask him to do because I thought it was hopeless. Not for JT! He also expanded a hole in my cabinet so that my new microwave cord could fit, repaired my oven door handle, installed 2 fire alarms and an exhaust fan. When the cord that came with the fan didn't reach the plug, he spliced a 3 prong extension cord and used that instead. Brilliant! He cleaned up everything. I highly recommend JT Handyman Service with no reservations and will definitely hire him again.

When i contacted him to ask him to finish the work he was paid to do, he became abusive and threatening. All of the work he was supposed to do had to be reworked. Went to magistrate and found out many others tried to file complaints also. Work crew consisted of suspicious characters, obviously none of them experience and my garage door opener was stolen by one of them. I found that trying to sue would likely just get me more debt because he does not keep any assets in his name. I got to know reputable contractors after some time and heard of other tragedies caused by this fraud. What a horrifying nightmare this was for my family.

I was very impressed with Andrei and his assistant -- both the knowledge and skills they displayed as well as friendly demeanor. Some of my hardwood replacement had to be special ordered because I have three different widths and one width was no longer made to stock. Andrei searched until he found where to special order the size -- this saved the project -- as the original sizes had to be maintained in order to complete continuity. I admire my new and refinished flooring every day and never tire of looking down at it! On top of that, the cost was a fair price! Do not hesitate to hire Marino Flooring!
