Malloy was as straight talking as it gets with transparency and car purchasing. I saw the vin of…read morecar I wanted online, did my communication via email. Came in on schedule time to pick up and purchase my car. When I was there, there was a lot of steps of waiting, but the people at this location were very thoughtful and country hospitality - offering various beverages throughout the process, offering nice conversations, balloons to the child with us, and thanking us for choosing Malloy. I would recommend making the drive to work with employees here and I plan too whenever the opportunity arises that our family would need a vehicle again. Will definitely be telling our friends and family to shop this dealership.

I don't know if it was because we are old, or that our car had PA plates, or both... but we got taken big time. We were told by the technician that our brakes were shot, totally rusted out with no pads, when a month ago the service department at Toyota of Scranton (who we have been going to for decades and who have earned our complete trust) told me our brakes were like new. We passed on the brake job. Then he showed us a picture of a furniture tack that appeared to be the size of a quarter that was impaled in our tire at the edge where the tread meets the sidewall. He said it was actually in the sidewall and could not be repaired. We stupidly accepted his explanation and the angle of his picture instead of asking to actually see the tire. We purchased a new tire at the tune of $312 because we were embarking on a six hour trip the following day. We asked the technician to put the damaged tire in the hatchback. When we paid and retrieved our car, we flipped the hatchback and saw that the tack, which looked enormous in his picture, was actually less than the size of a dime and was actually in the side of the substantial tread (being a new and high-end tire to begin with) and was in maybe an eighth of an inch at best! This was not even something that needed to be repaired. It was not worth it to us to go in and argue about this, but you can be sure that we will never set foot in this rip-off dealership again. The kicker is, that while the tire was being replaced, we were on the lot with one of their salesmen looking to buy a 2026 Highlander Hybrid Platinum for approximately $58k. Yeah... we'll go to WV to buy that.

I am a single parent with one mode of transportation. No loaner offered, but guess I was fortunate enough that they at least gave me a ride home. My mom bought a bronco as well from this place, neither of us would recommend this dealership. Best advice is RUN, don't even pull in the lot and be sucked in !

Very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. Now the bad. I took my avalanche in because of an airbag recall, however, I was having issues with the stabiltrac, the #1 cylinder was miss firing. So I replaced all the coils, wires, and spark plugs yet the issue remained. To give context as to why I went to the dealership, years ago I bought a Nissan pathfinder that was over heating. I changed out everything possible and still the same issue even after taking it to two mechanics. No idea what the issue was. Took it to Nissan in Winchester and Nissans have a heater switch that is more or less specific to Nissans. Only a Nissan mechanic would know about this issue. So it was finally fixed. So I took my avalanche to Malloy because I thought maybe they had a better way of determining the issue. The way I had to park my truck there was at an odd angle due to the parking lot being full, this matters later. I asked them to do a diagnostic on the truck for 180 bucks. What I was told a day later was that the #1 cylinder was bad, they would have to break it down to see what the issue was which would be expensive and they took an oil sample and found metal shards in the oil. When I came back to pick up the truck I noticed it was on the exact same position, the dirt on the hood was the same as when I left it, and there was no way someone got an oil sample, I crawled under the truck to look and there was zero fresh oil and the plug had not been touched. So I paid 180 bucks for what AutoZone does for free. Their solution was a 12k engine replacement. I cannot prove they did nothing, but I could see that they only hooked up the diagnostics device to the interior port and that's all. I would never take a vehicle to this place for work nor would I buy anything from them. Finally, all cylinders began to fire properly, the issue is with the computer. And they never even mention that.
