Our painters went to Rodda to get a matching paint quart for our brand new painted island. They…read morehad the color code for the paint and decided to take a drawer front. We wrapped it up to protect it from damage, and they took it there. That day, the lady working there felt she had to paint all over this newly sprayed drawer front; that day, the lady working there caused damage to it. In shock that the painters would even let this happen and leave this with them to injure it was not a good idea. That lack of professionalism and care towards another's property is insulting. Unfortunately, the painters thought it was ok to roll paint on the newly sprayed drawer front thinking that would correct the problem, now a new drawer front is needed, thanks to both Rodda Paints and the painter's lack of integrity.

The employee suggested using mistint or cheap flat paint, but I said I wanted something more durable so it would last. Trusting their guidance, I let them choose the product. That turned out to be a mistake, $150 later, I walked out with only a gallon and a half of paint. At no point was I told the price up front. It felt like I was treated not as a customer to be helped, but as a dad they could take advantage of, simply trying to make his daughter happy. I never expected a local business to treat local families this way. I should have kept going to the larger store where transparency and fairness are more reliable.
