I know she appreciates that she can see anyone there and they are cool with that. On a recent visit to Michigan, I accompanied my mom and got a blowout myself. I was with Amy and she was outstanding! We chatted throughout the time I was there and it was just super comfortable... the time flew by! It was affordable (even moreso for me as my mom did treat me this time), and the blowout lasted for several days... (It's amazing how much a blowout can make one feel so much better!) The salon has a convenient parking lot and everyone there is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this locally owned business and am so glad my mom has this place nearby. They charged me TWICE. Once for a deposit when I made the appt in case I was a no show, then again when I was a "no show." Doesn't make sense, make sure to check your card statements. Didn't bother to call me to ask if I was okay or on my way. Literally tried to scam me by charging me twice, even though they had my deposit in case I was a "no show". I have never been a no show to any appointment in my life, especially not an appointment I waited months for. Tried charging me over $200 for services that I did not receive. So greedy. Will never return.

I left a former stylist at another salon after 10 years. He has taken me from basic to chic & my hair is getting healthier each time we meet. Dennis introduced me to Baliage which I've never had done before, creating a beautiful look. His own personal style is perfection and I love chatting with him. Dennis is totally focused when working on any client's hair. He ensures I look my best as I leave the salon, in fact his blowouts last me 4 days. The first inconvenience of the day was that I got a call around 8 AM for my 1 PM appointment that there was a scheduling error and that the stylist I was working with had a bridal party scheduled and forgot, so I would have to either reschedule or cancel. Totally get understand mistakes happen, we're only human. Unfortunately, I didn't see the voicemail until I woke up an hour later, and when I called they notified me that the 2 alternate times they mentioned I could reschedule to had been filled. The good news was that I was at least able to get an appointment scheduled, however I expressed my concerns that it would be cutting it super close to my event, and they reassured me I would be out of there on time. Alas, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early, and I wasn't seen for almost 30 minutes as they were running behind. The main reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is solely because I actually loved the haircut, regardless of everything else that happened, I got exactly what I wanted and the stylist did a great job of talking everything through before starting. The one thing that really surprised me was how much I disliked the blowout! This salon is almost known for their bouncy blowouts, so I was very surprised to see that by the time I walked to my car (5 minutes) my hair was flat! My hair holds curls/blowouts VERY well, so I'm not sure what happened, but I called the salon notifying them how disappointed I was as I had another event the following day and they let me come back the next day to touch it up (free of charge).
