They have been like an extended family to us over…read morethe past 10 years since we enrolled our first child in the infant room and I will forever be grateful for the incredible care, patience, and love they have provided my three kids over the years. This place will always hold a special place in my heart! A few specific things that I want to call out, as I have found them incredibly valuable to me over the years. -GBLB is independently owned. The owner, Abby, is engaged, thoughtful, and incredible with kids. She is easy to contact and responsive. (I feel compelled to mention that she also has expert level face painting skills that each of my kids have loved!) -The staff are equally wonderful and most have been there for the full 10 years we have been at GBLB. I have loved the consistency this has provided my family/kids and they have all been remarkable. -Everyone is communicative and collaborative. I felt like we were all on the same team supporting each of my kids in their individual needs.

Having pandemic babies is hard enough, then adding all the "normal" things in "not normal" times is just a whole new world. Abby and her staff have made this transition easy and have given us peace of mind. We highly recommend them Growing By Leaps & Bounds!

Lacking Empathy and Basic Human Kindess…read more I had been hired by Kiddie Academy with the hopes and promises of advancing my career in early education only to find discrimination and cruelty. They have admitted to being against hiring males specifically and fired me as soon as they found out I had become homeless. I had worked hard for the short period I was there and gave everything they demanded as quickly and efficiently as I could just for them to terminate me for reasons out of my control. As soon as the Director, Nancy, was told I was living in hotels due to my mobile home being crashed into by a snowplow (enough to have left damage making it unlivable) she fired me. It did not matter how good of a worker I was for them, she discriminated against me due to my currently living hardships and in turn making life in general much harder after letting me go. I had even turned down other positions for this job just to be treated in this way. On top of all of this, I still have not been paid for my time there AND Nancy tried to cut down the hours I would get paid. Are these the kind of people you want teaching your kids? Lacking empathy and basic human compassion, sexist, do you really want your kids growing and learning from an environment and people like that? Trust me, if you love or care for your child, you will go elsewhere because they don't care about your child just the money they bring in.

The facilities are nice and clean, and the teachers and directors listen to our kids and parents. My daughter cried every day at a different center, and she stopped crying about school within the same first week she attended here! She loves her teachers and classmates. My only "critique" is that it closes at 4pm, Other than that, they're pretty darn perfect.

Each child is special and unique, and we strive to instill a positive self-image in everyone. We encourage an environment that focuses on learning through play and exploration. Through this, we also support and foster the social, emotional and physical development of children. L.E.A.P. Childcare's curriculum in each classroom focuses on a balanced mix of structured teacher-directed activities and independent learning. We believe it is important for children to be given time each day to learn by exploration; whether that means inside with one of our many learning manipulatives or outside discovering the world around them. The possibilities are endless! Children are also given time each day for unstructured free play. During this time, children will not only be given more opportunities to explore their environment and the materials in it, but this time will also promote the development of social skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Unstructured free play is the perfect time for children to discover their interests and express themselves. *Preschool students must be age 2.9 in order to enroll* *Pre-K students must be age 4 in order to enroll.*
