Six months ago I set up a tour to discuss enrollment for our son. He was attending another preschool but began having behavior issues and didn't seem to be learning at the same pace as his peers anymore. We we're all but forced to find a new school for him since the previous school seemed to have a lot of issues with their pre-K program, and despite numerous meetings, couldn't constructively assist our son. So we needed to find a great school for him quickly. It was very stressful and we weren't sure what to expect weren't looking for a full day program mid-way through the school year. When I contacted TLE, the staff was very friendly, and was happy to schedule a tour quickly. When I met with Melody, the director, she immediately understood our challenges, and felt that their curriculum and environment would be a good fit for our son. Turns out the opening they had was the last one available. After the tour and talking with the staff, I signed him up on the spot. After a few weeks of transition, our son began to adjust to the well-balanced structure of the program, and within a few months was an entirely different kid. He was happy and engaged, and began to like going to school again. About a month later, we we're also finally accepted into the Project Support program through the Billerica public school system. This only added to the improvements with language and behavior we'd seen take hold at TLE. They also did a great job helping to coordinate his pick up and drop off with the bus each day, always making sure he was ready for Project Support on time. His teachers were wonderful and worked very closely with us to address the challenges he had with adjusting, getting overwhelmed often, and improving his attention and language skills. Ms Carolynn, Ms Brittany, and Ms Colleen were immeasurably important to our son's success. They really took the time to get to KNOW him, and really find out how to tap into his abilities and teach him. Ms Colleen was his favorite teacher and gave extra attention to him to comfort him when he needed a good listening ear. I hate that we are moving and leaving our TLE family, they've made an incredible difference in our life. I absolutely recommend this center; it's hard to find a reason not to love it! read more

I have a very bad experience with TLE billerica centre. The centre director Ms. Melody is rude and arrogant. The centre doesn't have enough staff -the staff are impatient. I admitted my twin daughters to The learning Experience on 9th July 2012 (we wanted 2 days 8:30 am to 5:30pm). It was not even a month that they said they wanted to separate them and keep them in different classes for their betterment , I allowed because I trusted them. I never thought they were doing this for their own convenience. My daughters were exposed to us and their grand parents and had never been in any other daycare so it would take time for them to adjust but the TLE staff did not have that patience, Ms. Melody the centre director asked us that we should increase another day and when we refused she just said that it is being difficult for them to handle my kids , they do not have the luxury of putting all their resources after my daughter because she needs attention- if only we increase a day that way the girls will adjust. And when we did not agree she instructed the teachers to put pacifiers on my childs mouth so that they are calm ( we had instructed them that we only give pacifiers during nap time and asked them to do the same). When we confronted her she behaved as if either you increase a day or this is the way they are going to handle my daughters just put pacifiers. The next day when I sent them and came for pick up I saw them with pacifiers again. We served them a 2 week notice for withdrawal on 6th Aug morning and so my daughters will still be with them till 17th august. But that very evening when I came to pick them up a little early at 4pm instead of 5:30pm I saw one of the teacher scold my 16 month old (who was new student did not even complete a month) because she was crying and wanted to be held- my heart broke I immediately disenrolled my girls. If this is the condition of child care then what should it be for prisoners in jail? They are such a hypocrite they themselves say they love kids but they were so rude to my children. If they would have been understanding and polite we would surely think about increasing days but their attitude is "you have to or get out". read more

Knowing that maternity leave does have an end date to it, my wife and I started looking at daycare centers well in advance of our son arriving in March of 2015. We live in Billerica and looked at and toured a number of childcare centers before making our decision. Some were moderately priced, some were what we considered fairly expense and some landed right in the middle. We found through our vetting process that there was in our eyes a large variation in childcare centers around; those that felt very structured and almost prep school like which also seemed to be the more expensive of course, there were the centers that felt to us like they were merely babysitters for the entire day, and some fell right in the middle. After a few months of evaluating, we decided to enroll our son at TLE Billerica. This decision was not financially based as they were not the least expensive place around (nor the most expensive) and it was not based on convenience although the location is extremely convenient for us. The decision to drop our son off at TLE each weekday morning for the entire workday was based on it being the place we thought he would receive the best care and learning experience. Fast forwarding a year later and looking back we could not be happier with the decision we made. We could not be more appreciative of the level of care and education our son has received each and every day. Knowing he is being cared for and learning on a daily basis as he is at TLE definitely makes it easier as parents to entrust them each day with our most valuable thing in the world to us, our son. The entire staff is as caring as we are of him and really take an interest in his learning and progression. While some centers overly try to sell themselves to you, at every center we visited we were told that after we had concluded our visits we would "just know" where we wanted to entrust his care; they were all correct in saying this - we got into the car after our visit to TLE Billerica saying to each other, "this is it". read more

We have had both our kids at tle from age just about 2 years old and my oldest just finished kindergarten. The staff is great, truly loves your children and is vested in them - even the teachers who are not their primary teachers you come to know and love. My 3 year old is currently potty training - and the staff is super supportive and helping a ton! They get just as excited as we do when he goes potty on the big boy potty- the teachers are truly vested in the kids in learning and life. Tle teaches them so much! (Miss Colleen and miss Rachel) The kindergarten staff is a "dream team" (Miss Michelle and Miss Caitlyn) honestly- they are wonderful with the kids and the curriculum is fantastic- my daughter is young and repeating kindergarten in our town next year and I have no worries or concerns- she will rock school. All their teachers have been great (miss Kristina, miss Kayla and many more) The administration staff is wonderful as well - always helpful and greets you with a smile- and listens to you, and is responsive (Miss Melody and Miss Jackie Miss Kerri) My kids love doing science with Miss Kerri - I've been told that a ton by both. A huge benefit is that all meals are provided - my kids have been able to try many different foods different than what they have at home which is great, and it's such a help not having to pack their lunch and snacks. Daycare in general is tough-during rough drop offs the staff helps with the drop offs by figuring out how to work with your child from playdough to watching out the window and more. There are lots of kids, lots of personalities, and lots of challenges with day care in general - overall I am satisfied with TLE and have recommended it to others. I always walk in at pick up with my kids smiling, the teachers smiling and me smiling. If I have to work and my kids need childcare - I wouldn't choose a different daycare. I have two children that attend The Learning Experience, one is 4 and the other 19 months. Both have gone to The Learning Experience since they were babies. I am so pleased with this facility. My 4 year old will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and today was her orientation to her new school. Her future teachers as well as other staff members were completely amazed with how advanced she is. They were all impressed that she knew how to write her name, new all the different shapes, colors, how to count and write out numbers and sound out letters. For a 4 year old, the amount that she new was pretty impressive to them and I have The Learning Experience to thank for that. The new school even proclaimed what a great job The Learning Experience is doing with fully preparing their students for the bigger world. I am absolutely amazed at how much she has learned from the wonderful teachers at The Learning Experience. I am so grateful knowing that my child is 100% ready for Kindergarten because of what she has been taught at The Learning Experience over the years. I can not thank this facility enough for their time, patience and expertise. I am sad that one of my children has graduated from The Learning Experience, but I am so excited that my other child will receive the same proper and thorough education that will prepare him for the road ahead. We love TLE Billerica!! Our 4 month old goes there full time and as a new mom I was so afraid and not looking forward to going back to work. The staff at TLE is so nice and understands and assures you that they have an open door policy. I can come in and see my son whenever I want. Since he's been going to TLE, he is getting better at naps and sleeping at home. The daily sheets we get at the end of every day are amazing. I'm such a control freak and I love being able to see every diaper change, every nap, his mood, what he did that day. I look forward to those sheets every day, my husband does also! The teachers for the infant rooms are all incredible! It takes a special type of person to work in the child care industry. I don't know how they do it! And they make it look so seamless and easy. They are super clean there also which is huge. I understand that my son is going to get sick basically bc I kept him housebound for the first 3 months and his immune system now needs to be built up. But they are completely sanitary there. The truly show and care about your child which means so much and brings so much peace of mind To my husband and I. The office staff is awesome, Miss Jackie is always happy and smily every morning as is Miss Melody and Miss Kerry. The infant room teachers, I cant say enough they are all so wonderful! I had my son at a previous center in Chelmsford as well like the other rating and it was the worst experience in my life. I still do not understand how bad it got because at a year old he could not tell me what had happened, but just pulling in to the parking lot he would scream and it was that bad. I pulled in from a day care that was DANGEROUS and DIRTY and just bad things happened. I then came to find this center TLE Billerica. I was Welcomed with open arms. They were all so nice and thoughtful and probably the most helpful people I had met. When it comes to your child you want the best and here at TLE Billerica they really are the best. Every teacher I have met or that has had a chance to be with my child has been excellent. It is a very clean facility and they work individually with every family to make your child's experience the best. Allergies anything they make it work and at your ease. They cater to you and as a parent you need that. The teachers care about the children and teach them. They are just exceptional here. I travel every day to this day care just because I know how well my child is taken care of and also how much he is learning every day. The knowledge and teaching is exceptional here. They focus on your child and that is the most important thing. He walks into daycare with a smile and is happy and thats how it has been from day one. I don't know where I would be without TLE Billerica! My daughter started there at just 3 months old and as a first time parent I was naturally nervous about leaving my daughter while I returned to work. They established a nap time routine when I was struggling and gave me valuable parenting advice along the way. The staff at TLE is absolutely amazing. I could call or go in anytime to check on her without hesitation. Fast forward almost 5 years and my daughter is now starting in the kindergarten room. Miss Michelle and Miss Caitlin are truly wonderful. They have endless amounts of energy and love for all the kids. My daughter is always happy and excited to be there and most days doesn't want to leave! They are both so creative and caring and from days beginning to days end they always have a smile on their face and a skip in their step. As a parent it's a wonderful feeling to know and feel that your child is loved, safe, and well-cared for when you're at work. As a military wife with a husband far away the staff at TLE has been superb. So supportive for my daughter and I. I'll be sad when my daughter leaves next year to public school, but I know that I will be saying good-bye to an amazing staff! Five stars isn't enough for Miss Caitlin and Miss Michelle...they, and the rest of the staff at TLE deserve so much more! read more

My daughter has been at the TLE in Billerica for 2 1/2 years and started when she was 3 months old. I was a first time mother and had a hard time going back to work and leaving my little one. They helped with the transition by allowing me to watch her from the office video camera. They also provide an excellent daily sheet that keeps me connected to her daily activities, eating habits, napping and diaper changes. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. They listen to my family's needs and provide helpful tips throughout her development stages. They have a fantastic early childhood curriculum program which my daughter enjoys and her pediatrician has positive comments on her development of motor skills and verbal communication. I've had my kids enrolled with the center since they opened. I toured other facilities before choosing TLE and found that the staff from top to bottom is spot on with the attention and care given to the children! They are diligent in their efforts to ensure that myself and my wife have peace of mind that our children are well cared for in a loving, safe, family environment! I've recommended the center to others that have enrolled their children and share the same sentiments I have. Same can be said about other parents I talk with in passing. TLE Billerica is a fantastic daycare/school. The staff is a great team of teachers who truly care about your child. When I first toured the facility I made my decision to place our son there based on two things the environment and the teachers and from the minute I walked in the door I knew this was the best place for our son. He has grown and improved so much being at this school. His language and communication skills alone...he can read an entire book by himself at four years old! I mean a real book (60 pages). This school was one of the best decisions we have made for him..and we can't wait to see what his next year in the kindergarten room will bring. read more

The TLE in Billerica is an excellent school & daycare. My child is 2 years old, already knows how to potty, says more words than I can ever teach her, and has started reading some words in a book when I point to them! I know this is due to the wonderful staff and teachers. From the amazing infant rooms to now Toddler B, the teachers have been wonderful. They write detailed descriptions in her daily log of her precious moments with such care. I save most of these logs and enjoy rereading what made her smile or got her excited that day. We have toured all the daycares in and around this area. You just can't beat this kind of detail and care that the TLE provides. read more

I was nervous to tour this center based on the reviews, but I am very glad that I decided to tour and place my children at this center. we started out with the summer program, and stayed on for the "school" year. I have one child in the pre-k room and another in a younger class. The teachers are attentive, and loving. My children talk about the teachers all the time- the curriculum is age appropriate and I have been able to see the growth in the short time they have been there. read more

Our family sent our two sons to TLE Billerica for over 8 years between the two boys. As a corporate daycare, it was convenient for my husband and I as working parents. The hours are great. The staff care about the kids. There can be a lot of turnover, but that's expected with corporate. We would highly recommend this daycare to working families. My niece and family are so happy we have found TLE Billerica. The amount that she is learning from Spanish to Sign Language and how to be a good friend is just amazing! She comes home every day telling us how much fun she has and that she loves her friends. We travel quite the distance for this program and it is absolutely worth it! I have been with the learning Experience since they have opened. The staff are well trained, organized and loving. They have very quickly become my second family. They help me with advise and support me in times of need. I have been accomodated several times with little or no notice. I highly reccomend this program and would not want my child any where else.
