We moved him from Bright…read moreHorizons Seaport - Boston (which I had chosen from hundreds of centers in the Boston area, I researched for months, visited dozens of centers- I put in the work to find the very best) to this center pretty quickly. We had bought a new home faster than expected so I wasn't able to research as much this time around. The price difference made me worrisome at first (you get what you pay for they say) and going from $3600 a month to more like $1800 maybe we wonder. Yes, I know everything is more expensive in the city but when you live there for 10+ years some things stick with you. Needless to say I was unbelievably lucky!! This was so much better. Yes better!!! The teachers he had as an infant (Lindsay, Amanda, and Justine) were everything. I could feel how much they adored him in no time at all. I had always felt he was in safe hands in Boston but here he was loved. The class sizes are wonderful. The rooms are set up great. The projects they do are creative. He learns so much. Fast forward to COVID-19- the daycare was closed for 100 days going back was scary because my son would be in a new room with new teachers and new schedule. Andrea the Asst Director reached out personally (as in directly to me, not a generic mass email) to answer ALL my questions/concerns. My son has food allergies and they all know I worry like crazy about him but they never judge my crazy, they calm me down by giving me all the answers I need. Things are different now not being able to pop in the class to see how he's doing and having to drop off him off at the door, but when I bring him in and his arms reach out for them I know they are doing everything right. For a shy child to be so sure about someone you just know they are treating him the way you would. His new teachers have taught him so much. He brings home amazing art work, I get photos and videos daily, and reports on what he eats, when he naps.. everything. I brought him to a gymnastics class where he was the best behaved toddler there. He knew how to get in line, wait his turn, play along with others and mirror the teacher. These are not things he learns at home as an only child. This is the doing of his amazing teachers!! I would recommend this center a 1000 times over. I trust them with my heart every day and I never worry. Its his second family and they are the very best!

Words can't express how grateful I am for the toddler team that loves and nurtures my son everydayread more

I met with Karen, the director, after a girlfriend of mine recommended them. We walked throughout the entire school, not just the infant room- which is what we needed. The do in house field trips! They go all the way up to kindergarten, and while touring, I could tell all the staff and kids were happy. This is important to me, as I want the best for my child. They have a chef! They introduce nutritional meals and plant a seed of understanding food groups at a young age, to instill healthy food choices as they grow. I LOVE THIS! I was talking to a neighbor mom who couldn't understand why they would have a chef, and to ME, it's important. Because cooking, prepping, rationing out snacks and meals, is tough sometimes. I run a business and manage an office, and my husband works starting his days at 630 at a glass contracting facility, so we are BUSY! Knowing my daughter can get the proper attention and great food, makes me feel VERY confident that I'm providing her with the best school. They have monitors and video cameras, which helps me feel the kids are safe. There's monitors in the front lobby. Everything was clean, everything was labeled, and it felt like they're managed very well. From sign language, to educational groups, to the hands on staff- I just feel this is the best center in town. I literally cried in the parking lot! My only complaint is the price. It's nearly double what other daycares nearby offer! Their full-time rate is 500$. I understand they offer a LOT and it's the best of the best, but 3-400 range would be more appropriate in my opinion. Worth the tour! the kids will thrive! This is our dream daycare!

I certainly was extra stressed with the process of getting twins acclimated to the daycare environment at 15 months (they were at home with a nanny before this), but everyone from the the teachers and staff and director helped make the process work. They girls have their primary teacher, but are constantly interacting with different groups of kids and teachers and staff. This has been wonderful in getting them accustomed to new people outside of the school environment. They used to be very shy about meeting new people but its a comfortable process being in new places now. The school also helps me as a first time mom with many questions I'll have about different things the kids experience. An added bonus that extends beyond the school environemnt!

His teachers, often, are not montessori trained. You can expect constant turnover of teachers if you send your kids here... my son had 3 different lead classroom teachers in under two years. As to the quality of the education, all I'd say is to check out other montessori schools before drinking the koolaid here. There are other nearby schools teaching Spanish, music, art, and have Montessori-trained teachers over each classroom. Or you can send your kids here and they can learn to slice strawberries and play on tablets when they get older. Do not do it to yourself.

If your child is of color be careful of what is taught to the owners children and what will come out of their mouths. Also my child that was ready to prepare for there last year in this school did not know how to write there own Name and struggles with there letters and numbers. Horrible education! Half the teachers that work here do not have a education degree. Also they try and tell you about what your child should be eating for lunch. If it is not the right food they tell the parents they should have more fruits and vegetable in their diet. Beware do not send your child to this school they just want your money!

As a parent, there is no where else I would have wanted my kids to develop their educations. When they went on to elementary school (in another town), I was asked (by their teachers) where they went to preschool/pre-K. I was told that they were more prepared than most of the other children in their class. Amazing! As a teacher/administrator, there is no where else I would want to work. I am the music teacher (for all 3 locations) and the after school and vacation program director. The home-like atmosphere provided at LTS is true and organic. While still professional, the teachers and administrators at LTS are intelligent, loving, kind, generous, honest, trustworthy, dependable, fun and just plain old nice! The 3 locations are all different and amazing in their own right. The programs offered at each location are well-planned, consistent, engaging and constructive. If you are looking for a positive learning experience for your child, please check out Little Treasures in Reading, Lynnfield or North Reading.

Sent pictures in app of him happy and playing only to be told during this call he is never settled and never plays. When questioned the owner Urvi said "admittedly teachers are very selective about capturing the child's happier moments" eluding that it wasnt the real situation with our child just an illusion. How does a child acclimate within just 5/6 visits to a new school? When we would ask the teachers how he was doing we would get "he's having better days, pockets here and there but better". This phone call was refuting these images and all we were told by the teacher reason being not to upset us as parents. Pretty much lied to us up until this phone call all to keep the peace. How does a parent support a teacher or program if they aren't being given the truth? Oh that's right you call and ambush them with how your child cries all day long and they don't know what to do or how to handle them. When we mentioned that we feel the 2x per week probably wasn't helping him get used to the program and that he would benefit from consistency in days it was silence on their end. I brought up initial sign on conversation with owner Urvi about waitlisting and that she mentioned by the end of this calendar year beginning of next a 3 day a week spot should open. I was immediately put on hold. When the director came back on the line she said "What Urvi meant was there would be a spot if we opened another classroom and well we are having trouble finding staff , so that won't be happening anytime soon." Another colorful story sold to us! When I questioned as to why I was just hearing about all this struggle today she said that "maybe I made the mistake of telling your husband." I am sorry what, now you're inferring that 1) my husband and I don't communicate about our children and 2)that he is a liar. I responded with no we talk ritualistically every afternoon when he gets in the car at pickup and when they arrive home about how his day went. I never expected my child to seamlessly take to school, however to be told you're child is unmanageable when there is no substance behind said claims is bizarre. These claims become even crazier when fictitious conversations come into play and what you're seeing in black and white via images on the app are in fact manipulated to create a facade. What should also be noted here is my child has a provisional diagnosis of autism which the school was not only made aware of but supported by me sending in early intervention services. I tell you this because during this phone call the director picked apart my child's behavior almost mocking him to be honest. In the conversation about him not playing "He walks around the playground hanging on to the ball." Well if you're any sort of "educator" you would know a trait of autism is special interests and this is not an uncommon behavior. BUT thank you for condescendingly pointing out how inept you truly are to handle a child that is not neurotypical. Do not take anything about this school at face value. The stories and faces are many and it's not pretty when they show their true self. Glad I got my child out of there before he was permanently traumatized. Please see picture attached for how "never ever settled, cries all the time" my son is. It's all just for the parents at the cost of the kids-when you add marker it makes it sting less.
