Said the shoes were not enclosed. However when I bought the go kart ticket they said it was not open toe.

Went there the Sunday before labor day. Got there about 7pm. I was relieved to see the parking lot kind of empty. It was our first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect. From the outside this place looks fun. There's a water feature and the mini golf. Inside was a little small but it wasn't packed. We went to the ticket counter and I purchased 2 go kart tickets. The person at the counter informed me that everyone needs to have closed toe shoes to ride the go karts. I told her we did. I asked the person at the counter for a suggestion on buying a game card. She told me most of the games were 10 cents so I should be fine with a $10 card. I went against her suggestion and purchased a $25 game card. We went outside and stood in line for the double go karts. The line was pretty long. Apparently that's where the crowd was. After about 15 minutes the go karts pulled in. They opened the gates to let people in and I kid you not....our place in line did not change. After about another 10 minutes in the snail pace queue I decided it would be best if we played some games inside and waited till the go kart line subsided. Back inside I realized there were not many options for games. Also, the majority of the games were $1.00 per play. I guess the employee who told me most the games were 10 cents is new. Not many of the games were kid friendly. After about an hour we returned outside to the go kart line and it's just as long. There is a police officer standing in line. I ask him if he's waiting for a ride and he said "No this ride is closed." I am horrified. Its 8pm. How can the line be closed? Thankfully there was a family of 4 who said they were leaving so we were able to take their place. So we've been waiting in line for an hour. Literally. It turns out only 3 of the double go karts are in service. The ONLY reason I'm committed to waiting in line is because my son will have a conniption if we walk away. We get to the front of the line after an hour and the attendant tells me that my son can't ride because his shoes are not enclosed. I look at him in disbelief. So there is a huge problem with communication in this place because the person who sold me the ticket said no open toe shoes. My son starts having a melt down because he doesn't understand why we can't go on the ride. I ask the attendant if they sell swim shoes. He said yes. I run to the counter. They tell me all they have is kids size 13. My son is 3 and wears size 8. I buy the shoes anyway for $15.99, slip them on his feet like a pair of flippers and run outside so we can get to ride. The go karts are already going and the attendant takes our ticket and let's me join the group. We literally make 1 round on the track and it's time to come in. So I still have that other ticket. I go ask for a refund. I get it. The guy at the counter is nice enough to issue a refund for the swim shoes too. Hence the 1 star in this review. This place is a Hot Mess. An unorganized mess. I will not return.

The entrance ... excuse the pic from being turned sideways.

Super Duper fun once the kids and I got a hang of this place. We started with the bumper boats and then went on to the Go karts and then miniature golf. I have a 14yr old Son, shall I use emojis to explain... lol, just kidding but he's like any other teenager whom you have to drag out of the house while he holds on to the couch for dear life while scratching the filling out of it. And to top it off, we are watching one of our 10yr old nieces this summer and she's the same way! Nonetheless, these two came alive yesterday at this place (07/12/19) and we actually had great fun together. If I have to recommend anything, it would be to go on a Friday after 6pm where you can pay $17.99 per person for all unlimited access to the outside activities. Which is what we did and I must say, it was awesome and I loved the look of the mini golf course when it lit up at night. The place was easy to find, the staff (majority young) were friendly and helpful, even the managers and they made our experience that much better! Can't wait to return (really brought the kid out in me).

I'd say this place is mostly good for the 2 mini golf courses and go karts. BTW, you cannot have two adults ride together. Yeah. The significant other and I tried. Lol. There were also games where you can win tickets like Main, D&B, etc. But the choices weren't as vast. The batting cage seemed to the most unique thing here. There was also the bumper boats, but they were closed due to the season. It starts back up in March though. Overall, this is a cheap place for some fun, but don't expect much since the facility has suffered wear and tear due to aging.

Quite surprised this place is still standing after all these years. I remember visiting when I was a kid! They've added Buccaneer Cove now, which is a large outdoor water play area. I won't call it a water park, but it does have a slide and looks quite entertaining for kids under 10. I actually purchased a groupon...$23 for 2 champion passes and $46 for 4. The champion passed include unlimited attractions (bumper boats, go karts, and mini golf). It did not include the arcade and Buccaneer Cove (additional $10 pp). So for what I paid, I was quite pleased. It kept the kids busy and they enjoyed themselves. Their only complaint was the lines took way too long to get on the rides and the bumper boats smelled like urine! I'm sure a smaller child went potty on one of them and it wasn't cleaned. Overall I was impressed at how Malibu has held up after all these years. It doesn't look worn down. Arcade and bathrooms were maintained and appeared clean. The workers were nice and I'd take them back to visit with another Groupon of course. Otherwise, it would be overpriced.

    Go karting.

Do they have batting cages still and what condition are they in?

Yes, they have many batting cages. They have different speeds and are in pretty good condition. You have to pay inside at the counter to access them. They also provide helmets for your convenience, some are in better condition than others.

Which was sad because we were supposed to be there to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He was excited to try this place out. We drove over an hour to be disappointed. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

Andretti's in Buford is basically a playground for adults disguised as a sleek entertainment complex. The space feels modern and high-energy, with neon lighting, polished concrete, glowing game zones, and that constant hum of excitement from the arcade floor and track. It's part adrenaline, part date night, and part "we are absolutely children and proud of it." We spent the evening bouncing between arcade games, fully embracing our competitive sides. The ticket machines kept spitting out proof of our triumphs, and after a heroic run of wins, we cashed in for the ultimate symbol of arcade victory: a lava lamp. Nothing strengthens a relationship like carrying a glowing tube of molten nostalgia to the car. The atmosphere is lively without feeling chaotic, making it easy to laugh, play, and celebrate small victories together. Staff were friendly, the games were in great shape, and the entire place runs with the efficiency of somewhere that understands people came to have fun, not stand around waiting. If you're looking for a Valentine's date that swaps candlelight for neon glow and roses for arcade tickets, Andretti's delivers. We left with a lava lamp, sore cheeks from laughing, and the comforting knowledge that our relationship can survive friendly competition.

There are tons of orders sitting there under a heat lamp. People looking like they're just waiting. For what? For the food to be ready? Well there it is! People keep coming and going into this employee entrance looking like they're busy doing something important but I wonder what. Finally our server appears to ask "how are we doing"? Huh? What about the food? She says she'll check on it. It was just sitting there under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Now all dried out. Advice to manage: get this place sorted out. Come up with efficient processes to get food out to people ASAP. Dedicated food runners who run our food as soon as it's ready. Something! Oh and the best employee there was the bartender. Granted it was noonish when I was there but it was Saturday and the place was a ghost town. The layout is pretty odd as well. There's a secondary overflow parking lot on the midway next to a big stockade looking building and other old timey looking facades but most of it looks like a county fair or a family fun center like Barrymore's back home. I got my wristband to ride as much as I wanted for the day, even knowing I had to make it to Cape Canaveral by the end of the night and couldn't spend anything close to a full day here. I made a beeline for the fabled star attraction, ArieForce One. It looks great and a mere station wait was a welcome sight. The first 90% of ArieForce One completely lived up to the hype with an incredible mix of airtime hills, inversions and overbanked turns coming at a breakneck pace. Nothing was breaking my neck though, or causing the slightest bit of discomfort. Then came the series of bunny hills at the end with their violent ejector air. Absolutely killed my thighs whether I was in the front or the rear of the train. Felt like my thighs were getting jackhammered. Now I've ridden several coasters built by Rocky Mountain Construction, the manufacturer of ArieForce One. Iron Gwazi, Steel Vengeance, Twisted Cyclone and Goliath in addition to the one I'm talking about. All had the lapbars with the shin guards that let you go upside down without over the shoulder restraints. I've never had an issue with these RMC restraints on any of their other coasters that I've ridden. I thought I'd ride ArieForce One a dozen times or so. After one ride I went to ride a go kart track. It was okay nothing special. Came back for a second lap on ArieForce One. Once again I needed a break from it after that. I rode the park's other coasters, an unremarkable wild mouse called Hurricane. Hit the bathroom and took pictures of weird murals on the walls by video games and the food court. Came back for a third lap on ArieForce One. Once again it was exhilarating, exhilarating, more exhilarating then excruciating. I know a lot of coaster freaks are over the moon about ArieForce One - about the only other people riding it were maniacal masochists who were walking roller coaster encyclopedias. And I wouldn't mind working my way up to being a walking roller coaster encyclopedia but to be that I need to be able to walk. Love everything about ArieForce One until those bruising bunny hills at the finale. To me that ride is unmarathonable. Fortunately I did need to make good time on the road and I had lots of other fun things planned on this trip and I knew I would be spending a pretty penny so I didn't much mind the cash I sunk into that wristband. This Fun Spot is just so odd and its marquee attraction has a fatal flaw but I'll still give the place three stars. Here's to knowing when to say when.
