They have ALL the skills and dedication to make you look and feel beautiful. I was looking for a really natural makeup look, and an updo with lots of texture. I was definitely nervous about the makeup piece since I basically don't wear much more than mascara, but Anny nailed it - I felt weightless and beautiful and most of all like MYSELF the entire day. My hair was a work of art as well - I hope Andy is proud of what he created because I LOVED it. I have to also mention that the two of them have a great dynamic - they work very smoothly together and definitely made me feel at ease, and when my wedding day arrived they were just the calming presence I needed. It felt foreign and I would often feel quite uncomfortable. For my elopement ceremony last summer, I wanted to look like myself, except with better skin. I wanted to be comfortable with myself. Anny's portfolio was appealing to me, because it had a variety of looks, including the "natural look", the one I wanted. We had a super intimate ceremony over brunch. Shawna absolutely nailed what I asked for. She made me feel like a more elegant, polished version of myself. She knew right away how to accentuate my features but still have a natural look. The touch up kit made it easy for me to fix my lip color in between photos. For my hair, Shawna did an amazing updo that I never would have been able to do myself! I gave her some creative freedom with the hairstyle and was so happy with the result. An updo is not easy with my hair because it's very thick and heavy, but somehow it stayed in place all night through lots of hugs and dancing. The lash extensions were done a couple days prior to the wedding. She had a few different options ranging from natural-looking to more dramatic. I loved that I didn't worry about sweating or crying off mascara or strip lashes during my wedding, and they looked beautiful! I was a lash newbie but Shawna gave me easy instructions on how to care for them. The process does take a couple hours if you're getting a full set, but it's absolutely worth it. From the moment I booked her services online, she was kind, patient, and super quick to email me back and answer any questions that I had. She never left me hanging. We scheduled a trial run for my make-up, and Moriah was so gracious when she came to my home. She was right on time, and also so incredibly warm and reassuring. I had gotten my brows done in 2017 with her as a "model" paid $150. You get what you pay for. I…read moreimmediately told her my brows were not symmetrical she snapped at me and said I moved and that's why it's misshaped then said I should wait until healing to let her know. So awesome the customer tells the "artist" and they BLAME THEM. She used a phone app to figure out my brow shape and outline... that's not how it's done. I went home and tried to peel the pigments out. Once after I healed and waited months on a list to see a reputable girl in Vancouver WA to flush the pigments and also had to wait for them to fade. That was 1800 for four sessions. I then went without corrected brows for two years and paid 1200 again. And I will tell you both girls tell me they always have to correct her work and I am not the first person to see them for corrections. So if you want terrible brows she's the one to see , if you need them corrected message me I know where to go get them fixed. If you want to see my best friend who does a way better job than her for just double the price and she's an actual artist message me I'll provide contact info. I have been doing my eyelash extensions with Martha for 6 months now. When I first saw Martha, she did a consultation to examine my face and to work out the best look for me. She involved me in that process so I immediately felt her dedication to make me very happy with the result. She does the same for every new client, which shows a very high degree of professionalism and her true care for the new clients - Martha always does everything to make sure only the best results are achieved. While applying extensions, Martha is very careful and very thorough. She literally goes lash by lash, it's amazing. She cares about hygiene, which is very important to me. Her salon is very cozy and clean, and she keeps a little snack for those of us who never have enough time. There have been times when I texted Martha with questions and she aways got back to me within short amount of time. She does a great job on accommodating my busy schedule. I would not go see another lash artist, there is not a better one than Martha around here.
