Katie knows exactly what she is doing; she is a perfectionist and extremely knowledgeable in her profession. I've been having my eyebrows done ever since I can remember (being born with a unibrow will have you tweezing in the 2nd grade), she is the first person to look at me and tell me EXACTLY what I need. I appreciated that so much because we only know what we know and she is the expert. Everyone else I had gone to previously would clean them and do what I asked, which is ideally what should happen. But Katie...she looked at me and told me "your eyebrows should start here," proceeding to map my brows out to perfection. The Front receptionist and I began talking after a while and I mentioned how I would've got mine done & she stopped me mid sentence exclaiming that she has someone who could take me right now. Of course I took her up on the offer and ended getting my brows tinted and cleaned up. The brow artist I had (sadly I don't remember her name) was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted instead of doing whatever she thought I needed. Needless to say, my brows came out amazing. I've gotten compliment after compliment because she did a really great job of making them look natural. She also gave me tips on maintaining them and what to use to help them grow in the places I have slight gaps. Another thing I noticed while I was sitting there waiting for my friend is that the brow artist wouldn't take her next appointment if let's say she was waiting 10 minutes for the tint to set on her 1st appointment. This is something I've experienced all the time and really dislike at salons because then you're stuck waiting till they're done with a person that came after you. So I really like the fact that they gave their full attention to you and your appointment. I will honestly being going back here for the simple fact that they overall provide a great service. I've been coming here for a few years and Ella has always done a great job on my brows. As others have noted, the wait times can be long but I found that as long as I had an appointment I only waited a few minutes. In June I had an appointment yet was kept waiting about 40 minutes. I messaged the owner and she apologized and had a bunch of excuses as to why Ella was running so behind and couldn't call or text to let me know. Ella didn't apologize but I chalked it up to her being young and that after our chat her mom would explain how to handle situations like this going forward. I didn't really plan to come back but I'm traveling for work and my brows were a mess so I decided to give them another try. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment for 6:30, arrived on time and Ella didn't start on my brows until 7:20. And once again not even so much as an "I apologize for the wait" or "thanks for your patience." I've never had a service provider not even acknowledge keeping a paying customer waiting that long in my life and now she has done it to me twice. I won't give them a third opportunity to not even show basic decency or customer service. It's sad that they've lost so many customers, not because they don't do great work, but because they refuse to invest in a system for booking appointments.

I was afraid it woyld turn out wrong. Of course, I wanted someone with experience and proven results at the highest level. I finally booked my appointment with Renata at Body Brow Bar. I did not do the free consultation. So, Renata is a total professional, the real deal with a gentle and caring touch. She does complete measurements of your face for accurate placement for natural eyebrows. Even if you have been having pro waxing and plucking now, if you ever messed up your own brows as a teen or in the past, you may be shocked at how lopsided or unevenly placed your brows have actually become. Its hard to judge that yourself if its subtle. I was shocked how one of my eyebrows was completely misplaced, crazy. I dont know how she fixed it so perfectly but she did. Magically. My brows had also lost volume (im being kid to myself) and I was spending so much time every morning to try to most naturally pencil and shape my eyebrows. Every day. Geez, I am a new person after Renata completed the microblading. I get so many compliments and my eyebrows are perfect and natural and I don't need to do anything to them before going out. I had the microblading over 7 months ago and should have posted this review earlier, but better late than never and 10 stars would not be enough due Renata. Granted, I am going to call today about having the color of the brows at the edges just updated a little bit because I do very carefully use glycolics and she warned it could slightly affect the life of treatment. But it's not really needed maybe just on the very ends. For me, Renata gave me the most natural looking eyebrows. Renata's superior training and expertise. I am a divorce and family law attorney and i need to appear publicly in court so it was important that I look good esp in the eyes and eyebrow dept (I still need to change my pics online so I dont have to show those old eyebrows nor can I look at them it's now just crazy bad. ) Other brow people, many, pretend they know what to do for you, and maybe a few can, but they need the training to be able to do correct measuring and positioning on each person's unique facial structure. You can ruin your brows and your entire face. We've all seen those bad brows, badly tatooed and so fake. No worries using Renata. Complete confidence, seriously. The expense is the same as anywhere bc it includes the requisite follow up many weeks later. But forget the competitive pricing, It's a bargain for the quality and piece of mind with Renata. She owns the business. No more spending 30 or 40 dollars on various brow pencils that cant possily look like Renata's microblading. Unfortunately, my lashes did not come out how they are supposed to. If you have never done a lash lift before, your lashes are supposed to have a natural upward curve to them. Mine were straight up (no natural curve and touching my eyelid) and look a little frizzy. I look like my lashes were blown up in the wind and are frozen in place. I have to stay like this for 8-12 weeks. Extremely upset. My bottom lashes (which are not supposed to be touched during this process) look frayed. I contacted the merchant via Instagram, email, and phone. I asked to speak to the owner and they did not call me back or try to speak with me. The esthetician responded to my email saying my lashes were lifted and called saying no refunds will be issued per the contract. I'm more upset at the lack of professionalism from the owner. I thought with all the great reviews provided on Yelp, I would at least receive a call regarding my disservice to at least fix my lashes or hear my concerns. I would not recommend this place at all! There are so many businesses doing this procedure that the outcome of lashes is unacceptable.
