Tiffany really nails the soft-glam look for makeup. It's very flattering but you still look like you. She's a pro for this What bothered me the most is she didn't mention she had a minimum until after she did my trial. It's not on her website and not in the informational email. In order to meet the minimum, we decided to add my mom and MIL into the schedule but this ended up changing our whole timeline for the morning at the last minute and, I had to wake up way earlier than I planned since she said it would take too long to set up at the Airbnb they were at, but OK. I did a trial with her a week before my wedding and the teasing really damaged my hair, I could barely brush it. My hair looked great during the first look, but it really didn't hold, and even by the ceremony it was falling out. Similarly, my MIL also had curls done and I noticed it didn't hold up either. Lastly, she overslept my trial (which she was very apologetic for). She offered a small discount, but I didn't really feel like it compensated for me taking the day off, spending a whole day driving to San Jose, waiting an hour, driving back, and then rescheduling. She was about 15 minutes late arriving to our venue, but it didn't end up setting our schedule back.

I don't think I could have trusted anyone else to ensure that I was looking my best. A couple of months before the wedding, during a trial, we talked about color, natural looks, and what I'd feel comfortable with. She cleaned up my brows and made suggestions for what would look best for my big day, including what kind of lashes would work best for me. Her consultation was really professional and made me feel comfortable. With her guidance, I ordered what she recommended and, of course, for my actual wedding day, I left everything at home instead of bringing them to the hotel!! Omg... thankfully, Linh had extras of everything I'd need. She made it work, including back up lashes, and told me not to panic. The customer service, preparedness, kindness, and care really helped to make my day go smoothly. I can't believe I blanked out on such important stuff, but she had me covered. She even helped one of my bridesmaids when that wasn't part of the original plan. I had a truly great day, and it helped to have Linh start my morning off right. Her comforting smile and calm demeanor was such a welcome. Thanks Linh!!

I've tried and gone to endless brow places (in the East Bay, SF and along the Peninsula) over the last ten years - tried everything from just tweezing, waxing and threading - some have been great, some have been not so great. But none have understood me and my brows like Lyn does. She has a knack and eye for natural beauty and seriously brings out the best in your features. My most recent brow experience before going to Lyn left my brows in a disastrous state. Too thin and uneven. As someone with thick and dark brows, it was truly an insecure and vulnerable place to be in. So, again, I was in search of my next brow person. I've always admired Lyn's work on Instagram, so was so excited to see that she was offering appointments again. I signed up for a 'Full Brow Transformation'. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I could not be happier with Lyn, the entire experience or how my brows turned out. I texted Jessie for her availability and she replied in 16 minutes. I'm big on promptness, so I'm glad to say she made a positive first impression. I sent her photos from her portfolio to get a quote. Reasonably, she provided a range because it depends on how much hair she's working with. Few days before our appointment, she reminded me to shampoo my hair and condition the ends - not the scalp. Love the instructions! Come the day of our appointment: I asked her to come to my home for a small travel fee, and she arrives on time. So considerate that she parked on the curb instead of the driveway! She strikes up a great conversation with my mother ; I'm more of a listener than a talker - haha! Jessie finishes my updo within an hour and I love it. It's exactly what I asked for. I appreciate that she used more Bobby pins than hairspray, so washing my hair won't be as difficult later. She hid the Bobby pins incredibly well.
