It may seem unusual for a guy to review a makeup artist; that's fairly understandable, for obvious reasons.
And yet, here I am, glass of vino in hand, having paged through an album of wedding photos and digital images from a few years ago, currently plugging away...
And why then am I writing this review? Because, in the images, my wife looks absolutely incredible - not just 'good', but incredible: elegant, beautiful and classic...
Part of course is the subjective glow-haze that comes from getting married - the moment, the friends, the family, the dress etc., but the other aspect is objective - sifting through images that will last for many, many years - vestiges of the past that will let others know that mom / grandma (whatever role she plays, to whatever individual, at whatever stage)... was absolutely beautiful on her wedding day.
... which is both timeless and priceless.
The other part, for sure, can be credited to a conscientious makeup artist who took the time to listen and reflect the wishes - and ultimately, inner beauty - that was my bride-wife, using discretion, leveraging experience and consulting... knowing that the moment is fleeting but that memories/images/photos are eternal ... and that you've got only one change to make it right...
Which brings me back to my initial thought: my bride-wife is beautiful: I am very, very pleased with the outcome.
