I was a bit nervous as my only previous waxing was done in the 1990's and it was so painful. I am very happy to report that Emma is a magician with her "gentle wax" method and left my face feeling renewed and fresh. It did not feel raw afterwards and I've had no outbreak of any kind. (My skin tends to dryness and I am in my 70's, just FYI.) She is very easy to engage with and we had a few laughs- I hope I wasn't too loud! The salon has a great vibe and is spic and span clean. There's plenty of parking. I will be going back as recommended in 5 weeks for followup waxing, but I must try a full day spa treatment before that. Ya have to treat yourself right, right?!

The Absolute BEST I…read morewas recommended to Chris and Raven Tattoo by a friend, and going to him has been the absolute best tattoo experience ever! He went above and beyond throughout-- beginning with the design consult where he helped me realize the vision I had for my first large back piece. I have gotten several smaller pieces over the years at other places all over the country and can attest that Chris and Pink Raven are the best across the board. Best Artist with amazing attention to detail, Best personality, most fun to work with, Best shop -- which is spotlessly clean and welcoming. Chris has a very chill and professional vibe. I felt completely confident and relaxed from start to finish. But the best part of all was my finished piece- which is amazing and waaay better than I even dreamed it would be. Anyone considering their first tat or some major ink work should NOT go anywhere else. Thank you Chris! See you again soon! - Robb G.

Most recently, I placed an order online, yet 10 days later I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation email. I called the store asking if my order was lost or if they were out of stock of the product I asked for, but I received no return phone call. On the 11th day, my order was shipped, but I don't think it should take 11 days to ship out an order from a store. If it does, the customer should be notified. The first time I purchased products online, I was sent another person's order. I understand mix-ups happen, but this isn't an amazon.com distribution center with thousands of orders per day. Overall, if I'm paying $8 for a small bottle of hand lotion, I expect someone to at least call me back.

I had let him know that I wanted NOTHING cut off the top of my hair because im trying to let it all grow out. The barber understood and then started doing my hair. After my haircut was over he had to let me know that he cut the back of my hair because it would look like a mushroom. I was a bit upset with this because this entire haircut was an undercut and none of my actually hair was going to be cut, just the fade. Once I got home, I took a shower and realized that he had actually cut off a lot of the sides of the hair. I'm highly disappointed because almost every other time I've gone there its been amazing, but when you don't just listen to what you're supposed to and do your job is upsetting. I do really like going here, but in the future i want to keep my hair nice and long and not have it cut. Thank you!
