I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience…read morehonestly and professionally. I booked with this makeup artist in 2021 for my wedding-related event and paid a deposit. At the time, I was extremely overwhelmed managing multiple moving pieces for my date and had my younger sister CC'd in our communication, especially since my sister had also previously booked services with her. I noticed that every time the artist replied, she would intentionally leave my sister off the email chain, even after I politely asked why she was doing so. That concern was never acknowledged or addressed. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, my personal circumstances changed dramatically when I was diagnosed with cancer. I was dealing with understanding my diagnosis, treatment planning, and recovery, and the event ultimately did not move forward. I reached out several times in February regarding the deposit and simply hoped for professionalism, communication, or even basic compassion. I completely understand that businesses have policies and that she may not have wanted to issue a refund. That is her right. However, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of response and professionalism. My messages were ignored entirely -- not even a brief acknowledgment, explanation, or courteous reply. As someone running a business, especially one presenting a strong religious identity and values publicly, I expected kindness, professionalism, and basic human decency in communication. Even if the answer was "no," a respectful response would have gone a long way. This experience felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I hope this feedback encourages better communication and more compassion toward future clients.

I still looked like "me" but I felt like the absolute best version of myself--as someone who's on the quiet side, I was actually a little overwhelmed with all the compliments I got on my hair and makeup throughout the night. Nicole has a vibrant and warm demeanor, worked with efficiency, and she gave me many tips on how to keep my look fresh throughout all the wedding festivities. Without a doubt, I will be contacting NCS for future events and completely recommend them to anyone that wants to look and feel like a VIP.

I bounced around stylists for a couple years until I read Yelp reviews about Wiyanna at Edge. I tried her out and loved my haircut, so I've followed her to different locations since. Why I love Wiyanna: - No fugly stage after getting a haircut - I walk out happy with my hair and don't have to grow into it or muck around with it later. - No fugly stage three months after a haircut - the cut wears well over time and the layers grow out great. - Crazy easy online appointment system for booking haircuts - I can cancel/resched at 2 AM if I want. - She always offers to blow out or curl my hair after the cut - it's really cute that she lets me pick and I always get compliments. - Wiyanna's incredibly sweet and super cheery - she has some crazy fifth sense for knowing when I feel like chatting and when I feel like sitting quietly during the cut. Basically Wiyanna's the best - if you're thinking about switching stylists, give her a shot!
