Oh my gosh??! so much fun. This was such an incredible experience. My boyfriend booked this for us online, and we had a blast. Lonnie was awesome, it ended just being us two and i feel like it made the experience 10x cooler. She is very meticulous and makes sure that everything is perfect for your candle. She gave me some awesome suggestions to help me with scents. I ended up loving my candle and my boyfriend loved his as well. I go to a lot of candlemaking classes, and I have to say this was the best one thus far. The owner, Lonnie, is very welcoming and helpful and created such a fun environment for us. Honestly it's hard to socialize and pay attention to instructions and do the task all at the same time, so she was wonderful in handholding and helping when I messed up lol! The store is super cute and there were a variety of candleholders and fragrances, and we even added petals. My boyfriend and I had our first candle making workshop and it was perfect! Lonnie was an amazing instructor and her studio is sooo beautifully designed -- I loved how comfortable and cozy it was. There was a variety of selections for the vessel, fragrance, and dried flowers. We used Love Me, Indigo Waters, Rustic Wood, and Gardenia for our candles. Two weeks ago I was supposed to attend a birthday celebration. I was so excited! I just lost my job but I forked over the money to do something crafty. However, I couldn't attend because I contracted Covid. Since I was not able to attend, my party and I asked if I can either get a refund or be able to come back at another time. I came here for a candle making workshop with my mom and sister for a little family girl date and it was the perfectttttt festive thing to do during the holidays. There were so many interesting fragrances to mix and match and discover! The environment and the decor is so beautiful, the mood is bright, and the host, Lonnie, is so personable and kind! You are also able to bring in your own wine and snacks to enjoy with your party. I mixed four scents together: gardenia, indigo waters, grapefruit, and Prince Charming. Smells sooooo good. Not too sweet and also smells quite high-end! My mom mixed patchouli with love spell and blooming flowers and it was also sooo lovely. Patchouli is an amazing mixer that balances out some sweeter scents! Very fun to play around with the ratios! 10/10 would recommend!!! Parking is super easy and making a reservation was seamless. I came here to try candle making for the first time and it was the best experience! Firstly, my instructor Bree, was super easy to chat with and gave very clear instructions. The selection of vessels was big. They come in different styles, colors and shapes, all were eye catching. There were also a lot of scents to choose from and they will give you a paper towel where you can drop scents on to see what it smells like if you were to mix them. For $60, you get to make a 10oz candle and three tea lights. The candle making process was very therapeutic and beginner friendly - Bree said this is a stress free zone, so don't worry if you don't get it right away. The last step is to add dried flowers and stones to decorate your candles and they also had a wide selection of those! This place feels like your own art studio! read more
