I called AAA (3 times but that's another review). Once I was in contact with Hacketts, things seemed to improve. They were in constant communication via text and phone. You could actually see where the driver is at any moment via maps. I believe the operators name was Nick (not sure). The Bad: As I said previously " Nick" was nice. Upon picking up my car from the mechanic I noticed my arm rest was broken. Asked the mechanic and he said it was that way when he got it to replace the starter motor. I then called Hacketts. Spoke to guy named Rich or Rick. He said he'd talk to the driver and get back to me. Of course " Nick" denied breaking my arm rest. Now Nick is a BIG guy, I'd guess over 300lbs. Once He towed the car I should have inspected the inside of my car as well as the outside. Complained to AAA and they will investigate.

Reedmans had the vehicle 2 times for transmission…read moreissues both times the repair was covered under a warranty I purchased with the van, wasted 4K of warranty money. Still the issues exist so I took it to my local AAMCO they said the repairs that Reedmans did were not going to fix the problem, Because of the failed attempts at Reedmans I wasted warranty dollars that could have been applied to the actual repair. The transmission was shot and needed to be replaced. They took pictures of the actual problem and submitted to the warranty company and within a day I had approval to have the repair done using the balance of warranty dollars. Don't waste time and money; take your vehicle to AAMCO and get it right the first time.

After I got the car back with many new parts, I still had a problem with it jerking sporadically. I took it to Jerry, at AAMCO. I left it with him for a couple days when he called me up and asked when the last time was I'd changed my spark plugs. I thought he was crazy because I took the car in for it jerking, which I assumed was a transmission issue. Well, it turns out that $2500 I spent at the dealership was a waste. It turns out Jerry was right. It was a bad spark plug that whole time. Second experience I had was with my mom's pickup. The odometer had stopped working. Jerry and his team looked at it, then recommended we take the truck to a place that specializes in instrument clusters. $100 later, the odometer worked again. The Chevrolet dealership wanted $600 to fix the same problem. I can't thank Jerry and his guys enough. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

They will always make room for your car and you can drop it off and just come pick it up at the end of the day with no issues. They always make sure to check in if the price of your repair is high and give you options so in case you don't have to do everything at once then you can space it out. They also provide their services at reasonable prices. As a woman, I hate going into car shops and feeling like I'm going to be spoken down to or taken advantage of, thankfully I have NEVER had that experience here. I dropped the car off in the morning, it was running fine (I had just driven it to Baltimore and back four weeks in a row). At 4:00 when I hadn't heard from him that it was done (he indicated it would be done by 6:00) I called to see the progress. He told me he was looking to adjust the idle which I told him I didn't want him to do (the car was running fine for the last 70,000 miles which I drove it). I had a rental car so I was in no hurry to get the vehicle. I called Friday to see if the car was done. He (John) indicated the car was done and he had called and left message. He did not, I have not messages on home phone or my cell phone. (First lie). When I went to pick up my car, I paid. I left and the car had no power (acceleration and stalled). When I immediately took the car back to tell him his attitude was like he couldn't care less. He said he did not adjust the idle or anything else that would affect the car's performance. The leak has been fixed but now the car is not drivable. When I asked him to fix it he claimed it had come in that way. (Second lie). It had not. I now have to take my car to my other mechanic to see if he can undo what his shop has done. I hope it can be fixed. I don't recommend anyone ever use his shop for repairs.

They do have a vacuum section, and you pay for it. There are pumps that you need to pay in store, and some pay using a credit card. Then it will be okay to navigate in and out, not super easy, but can manage.
