Jen did my hair and makeup for my wedding on July 30th 2010, We had previously met for a trial and to talk through all my requirement. On the first meeting Jen made me feel comfortable and completely at ease with her, I asked her opinion on what makeup would look nice on me and she knew exactly what she was taking about! On the day of the trial Jen had a few ideas for my hair and makeup and they looked great. The months leading up to the wedding Jen kept in tough via E-mail or phone , any worries I had or any changes I wanted to make she took strait on board and reassured me. On the day of the wedding my face broke out in spots! The worst thing to ever happen to a bride. Jen met me at the venue and reassured me that she could hide them. Jen began to do my hair and makeup and kept me calm all through the process of getting ready. She is a real gem!. I Cant thank her enough for her hard work on the day and the wonderful job she did. I first met Jen at my best freinds wedding two years ago. I was one of three bridesmaids and she did all of our hair styling & make up on the day, which was amazing. What I didn't know at our meeting back then was that in a few months time, I would be requiring to book her services too. This time for my own wedding, but this was to be a long way off yet and we were in the very early stages of planning, but regardless of this I knew I trusted Jen to help me! It was our daughters wedding earlier this year and although she had already had one trial with another lady she was not entirely happy or confident with the final result. It was back to the drawing board for us and, after a another long search we finally found Jen too. Our first meeting was during a 'free' consultation in her lovely apartment which is in Brighton. My daughter and I explained the wedding theme and what we needed on the day (this proved to be quite valuable and an insight) Jen is both friendly and professional and gave us expert advice, even suggesting things that we hadn't even thought of (I didn't think this was possible!) Needless to say, we were blown away with the level of service that she offered us. From that moment we new that we had made the right decision. From our trial day to the wedding day we were in regular contact and on the morning of the wedding she arrived promptly. Jeni did my (and my bridesmaids) hair and makeup for my wedding in November 2011. She was great in making me feel relaxed about the whole process from start to finish, and the consultation, trial and beauty regime advice was brilliant, including giving me advice on possible accessories. I had barely any idea what I wanted and Jeni created something that suited perfectly my wedding dress and my facial features and the fact that I was keeping my glasses on! She was brilliant with organising what my bridesmaid wanted too, especially as she lives abroad and the first time they actually met face-to-face was at the wedding! I was having a very small wedding in Venice and as few of friends and family would be able to be there I wanted to make sure I looked my absolute best for the pictures. Jeni was able to fly out and prepare my hair and makeup and despite the rotten weather on the day (wind and rain aaargh!) she kept by my side ensuring that at all times I looked as good as possible. I was delighted by the 'natural' look she gave me - in truth much better than natural but so cunningly done you would not have thought I was wearing much makeup. In addition to doing a great job on my face and hair she was fantastic at keeping me calm, happy and relaxed. Jen did the make up for myself, my mum and my two bridesmaids for my wedding in October 2010. From the moment I met her, I knew that we were all in safe hands. Not only is Jen is an absolute professional, she is one of the warmest, calmest people I have ever met. Both the trial and the morning of the big day itself were great fun and everyone commented not only on how wonderful the make up was, and how happy they were with it, but also how lovely it was to have her as part of the morning's preparations. I've never felt so pampered! I discovered Jen through her Face Book group, a friend had sent me an invitation to the group knowing I was on the hunt for a make-up artist for my wedding. I decided to book a make-up lesson first to see how we got along and I am delighted to say that I have now also had a very successful pre-trial day for my make-up and hair styling! Jen provided hair and make up for my wedding. At the trial she was fantastic at teasing out the style and look I was after, despite my very vague ideas. Prior to the day she gave me loads of help and advice promptly by email, particularly when I was getting wedding nerves. On the day, she is such a lovely calm influence.
