I asked for an estimate for 2 leather couch cushions. James asked for pictures and measurements. He quoted me a price. He quoted me over triple the original price once I bought the leather and brought them in. I was told turn around would be 3 weeks. And verbally promised they would try to get them done sooner. 14 weeks, several empty promises, the gamut of excuses, and many ignored phone calls later, I finally received my cushions. The corners are lopsided, the cushions are uneven, and I was gaslit to believe "Thats how they originally were". I don't think so Karl. I was also threatened with "I have 6 guys here who will rip those cushions out of your car" when I demanded a discount for their less-than-superior service. The hostility proved their guilt. The interior of the business is filthy and unfit for any nonworker to enter. It will be interesting to see what mold spores and bugs my cushions will release after being held hostage in their "warehouse" for over a quarter of a year.

He didn't follow directions for reaching our place or getting into parking, and caused me inconvenience, then acted pissy about it. He gave me a date for when he'd have it ready, but the date came and went. 10 days after said date I phoned and said I'd really like my table back--so, he brought it back the next day. When I got home (he returned it when I was at work and only my husband was home) my first reaction was, "oh it's beautiful." Then I ran my hand over the top and realized he hadn't done the final fine sandpaper smoothing finish. Also, he used lacquer rather than polyurethane, which means we'll have to be ultra careful. To be fair, I probably agreed to that, but since it's my only table and we have grandkids, I should have insisted on the more durable finish. So, I'd give 5 stars for appearance, 2 stars for service, 1 star for tactile impression. Update: Here is the owner's response, sent to me as an SMS: Thank you for this online review Sharon. The important thing is that you got to sh*t smear me because I didn't perform my task to the ultimate standards. Dimitri was the youngest one in the business but the most enthusiastic and with the best selection. I did not want cheap blinds, I was making an investment in good quality blinds and also with those things that go at the top to hide the mechanism. So Dimitri delivered and I still am using those same good blinds he installed in the living room, bedroom and dining room in 2007. Recently, we purchased some new blinds for our kitchen. He warned us there there would be delays because of the epidemic. When he arrived, he properly wore a mask and abided by all of the safety protocols. We are happy with these new blinds he installed too. Also, the senior living community where my wife works regularly contracts with Dimitri for window dressing work too.

When we thought about redoing the other couch, two chairs and an ottoman, we decided to go back to them. We're so pleased with the results! The couch needed new foam seat cushions and Ceil recommended a dacron wrap around the back cushions, and it's perfect.
