I have so many good things to say about Louis and his team, I don't even know where to start!…read more - First off, Louis' communication was beyond expectation -- he was extremely responsive and professional. Both on Yelp and via text / call - Second, he offers scheduled pick up and drop off for your furniture which all the other companies I looked at did not offer - He has a great, creative eye for design and worked with me and my fiancé to find the perfect fabric for our chairs - Louis offers an extremely wide range of high quality fabrics and materials to choose from (you will be sure to find exactly what you need -- and Louis was happy to coach us through the process) - He also has really great and flexible hours to accommodate even the busiest professionals (evenings + Saturdays) - Lastly, and most importantly, is the quality of his work! He took 15+ year old chairs and made them look brand new (even better than the original if I'm being honest!). We know we are going to get decades more out of these chairs because of the quality and care Louis put into his work. OH! And the price was extremely competitive and reasonable based on the other quotes I received. I'm sure I'm leaving out something, but I'll leave with this: we could not be more happy with our newly upholstered chairs -- we've already received countless compliments and we will absolutely be going back to Louis for any of our upholstery needs. Thanks again for everything, Louis!!

We've had the chairs for 10 years, but the are good quality (Room & Board) and lightly used. I initially planned on having arm covers made, and was still able to get the fabric from R&B. And the picked them up and delivered them! Highly recommend!

We bought the legs and had the chairs in-hand, but needed help assembling them so that they were properly reinforced to handle use. That's where Matt came. And he was fantastic. He brought creative solutions, was communicative, and timely. He also went the extra mile to "test" 1 chair (separately) to make sure we were happy before investing in the other 3 chairs. Overall, working with Matt was a great experience and we would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for furniture repairs. We couldn't be happier with the result.

Our cherry tabletop was worn and looked terrible. When I was younger, I worked on wood and if we're…read more25/years ago and I still had a basement, I would have fixed it myself. But I'm old and in a condo now. Matt was recommended by ChatGPT and Yelp. He was, first of all, annoying to work with. He didn't follow directions for reaching our place or getting into parking, and caused me inconvenience, then acted pissy about it. He gave me a date for when he'd have it ready, but the date came and went. 10 days after said date I phoned and said I'd really like my table back--so, he brought it back the next day. When I got home (he returned it when I was at work and only my husband was home) my first reaction was, "oh it's beautiful." Then I ran my hand over the top and realized he hadn't done the final fine sandpaper smoothing finish. Also, he used lacquer rather than polyurethane, which means we'll have to be ultra careful. To be fair, I probably agreed to that, but since it's my only table and we have grandkids, I should have insisted on the more durable finish. So, I'd give 5 stars for appearance, 2 stars for service, 1 star for tactile impression. Update: Here is the owner's response, sent to me as an SMS: Thank you for this online review Sharon. The important thing is that you got to sh*t smear me because I didn't perform my task to the ultimate standards. May you and your half dead husband go to your graves comforted by having paid for getting a table that is far better that you paid for with a few pieces if currency that are completely meaningless to you at the end stage of your life. Mazel Tov Queen of the Universe. May God reward you for your generosity and humility. And may stink and misfortune follow me forever for failing to perform to the standards of herself and indeed of my own worthless self. Jesus Christ what an evil small minded capricious stingy world we live in. Again, thanks for the review.
