But I'm old and in a condo now. Matt was recommended by ChatGPT and Yelp. He was, first of all, annoying to work with. He didn't follow directions for reaching our place or getting into parking, and caused me inconvenience, then acted pissy about it. He gave me a date for when he'd have it ready, but the date came and went. 10 days after said date I phoned and said I'd really like my table back--so, he brought it back the next day. When I got home (he returned it when I was at work and only my husband was home) my first reaction was, "oh it's beautiful." Then I ran my hand over the top and realized he hadn't done the final fine sandpaper smoothing finish. Also, he used lacquer rather than polyurethane, which means we'll have to be ultra careful. To be fair, I probably agreed to that, but since it's my only table and we have grandkids, I should have insisted on the more durable finish. So, I'd give 5 stars for appearance, 2 stars for service, 1 star for tactile impression.
