Barbie worked at the front desk and was helpful and kind. Have LED candelabra bulbs for my light. One bulb went out about 2-3 years later. At the time I purchased, Barbie had told me these lightbulbs were long lasting. I think 7 or 10 years, if memory serves me correctly. I took burned out bulb to the store and Barbie replaced it. Well, a second one burned out at the beginning of this year (2023). I tried to go up once (it's near my home) and found out store was closed. So, planned to return soon but life/ health issues prevented. 7/27/23: got there today, no Barbie. I explained to a woman at the desk re purchase and needed bulb. And I handed said woman the bulb. She was condescending. First words were: "Well, they (bulbs) don't last forever"! I said that I knew this and what Barbie had said about life of bulb. The woman then said, again in her same tone: "Well , Barbie was wrong". I was a bit perturbed and said to give me the bulb, that I'd go elsewhere to buy one. She mildly protested and said 'no, wait' but at this point, I did not want to do business with her.

Between him and the lovely lady who called after this review was originally posted I would say they are a good quality company. Kenny was just a poor representation of the company. I will reiterate they were cost friendly. Original review- Hands down would not recommend this company especially if Kenny shows up at your door. I decided to use this service for the first time because they were reasonable on price. However Kenny the technician was over an hour an 10 minutes late for the initial show time frame. Then in addition to that he took over 5 hours to complete 3 rooms and a stair case. The guy appeared to be on some sort of drug. He claimed he was being thorough and talked the company up extensively. However the truth is he left several marks on our walls with his equipment being knocked around in addition to putting tiny holes through it in some places. In addition to that he went into rooms we asked him to stay out of looking for God knows what. The carpet was also left with some stiffness and a film which we were told wouldn't happen with the chemicals they used. Save yourself the hassle of having your whole day taken up and additional damage done to your house and choose another service.

Well, in doing my research I discovered a new 4 pound foam system that works better than mud jacking. In my opinion it gives the operator better control and feel over the lifting and filling of the void under the concrete. Then I found Concrete Raising Systems. I am so GLAD I did!!!! Ken and Jason showed up on time and did an amazing job! My steps had been piered at some point so they did not want to raise easily. I think that is an understatement LOL. At 3.5 hours into a "about 2 hours" job the steps had only moved about half way to where we wanted them. I was getting nervous this was going to cost more than bid so I said "that's better than it was. It will probably be good enough." Jason was not satisfied and Ken reassured me than the bid price was still on target. So 4.5 hours later we have a perfectly level raised set up steps ready for their new home owners. Acquired an old greenhouse that had tempered glass panes. A few had been broken during its time…read morestanding. I called around and got some estimates for three panes of glass. Two were the same size and the third was less then half of that. I was told that it would take at least a week to make. Some of the prices given seemed rather extreme to me. The price that Santa Fe gave me was almost half of that cost. I asked how long it would take to get and was told possibly by the end of the business week. The order went in on Tuesday morning and they called me Thursday to say the glass was in. I picked it up and the panels fit perfectly and made the greenhouse look great. Unfortunately, almost everything after the sale was frustrating. Communication was consistently poor. I repeatedly had to contact the company for updates instead of receiving them proactively. Although Taelyn responded to emails and apologized at times, getting clear answers about scheduling was difficult throughout the project. The biggest issue occurred on my scheduled installation day. I took time off expecting the crew to arrive, but no one showed up or contacted me. I had to call several times before learning the crew was delayed on another project. I was first told they would arrive that afternoon, only to later learn they weren't coming at all. Delays happen, but customers should be informed instead of having to chase updates. Even after the installation was complete, I had to request my final invoice for two days before receiving a payment link. Shortly after paying, I received a request to leave a review. The fence itself deserves five stars. My two-star rating reflects the company's communication and project management. If those had matched the quality of the installation crew, this would have been a completely different review.

I have hired CBR for 2 leaks and just got an estimate for a 3rd problem due to wind damage on the…read moreroof of my deck. One leak was a repair all the way down to the wood. They were professional and did a good job, but over that winter, something happened and the leak started back up again the following spring. They came out and did more sealing around the furnace exhaust pipe and that fixed it. There was no extra charge for coming back. The second leak in my mobile home roof they were able to repair easily in a few minutes. We have had no other leaking in either spot. Ryan has been great to work with in figuring out the problems and what needed to be done. He has been honest and helpful and has explained the what's and why's to fix the problem areas. In the work they have done for me, Ryan shows he cares about doing jobs right, not just put a bandaid on the problem, especially when the problem was created by the things not put down right in the first place by someone else.

2 years ago Christian Brothers inspected my roof. It didn't need replacing but they replaced some…read morevents damaged by squirrels. Positive experience. After recent storms I asked them to come back. It was a different salesman this time. Again, the roof was in good shape except a few shingles were raised because of wind. There is a $450 minimum glue them down. They said they would do the repair and check for any other damage while on the roof. When they came about 3 weeks later, the worker was on the roof less than 20 minutes. It didn't look to me that any repair had been done. My contact called me back 2 days later and said the worker didn't think there was any wind damage, but did a little caulking and nailed a few nails down to make it worth the minimum charge. I didn't think that was a lot of work for $450. He said he could lower the bill to $350. I said that still seemed high for less than 20 minutes work. He got a little huffy with me and said it was dangerous work and there was driving time involved. I suggested the worker should have called him and maybe do nothing. Then he insisted I tell him how much I thought the job was worth. I wasn't interested in playing that game. He finally asked if I thought it was worth $300? By that time I was done with him and the company. I mailed my check and addressed the envelope to the owner of the company, hoping I might get some further explanation about what happened. I don't usually do negative reviews, but when my check cleared 3 days later and I never heard from the owner, I decided I would let other people know. I will not use this company in the future.
