Upon my request David carefully explained many details of the system which I did not understand, and at the end performed two additional steps, which he explained: leaving the butterfly valves slightly open and removing the battery from the system controller. The two previous firms had never done these tasks. I was very satisfied with David's careful work. My only reservations are that the cost seemed a bit over the market (David's firm charges a $100 minimum) and there does not seem to be a procedure in place to confirm arrival time by phone call, which led to a slight misconnect for the visit.

This fits our experience with Sorbello Landscaping. The desire was conceived in the fall of 2018 to make an ugly hill beautiful, and we contracted with Al to make it possible. But anyone who has done business in the Spring on Cape Cod knows that delays from contractors can make the heart sick. Suddenly on one Friday morning, Al send an invasion army of seven landscapers (outstanding workers) and equipment, and by 2:30 PM our desire was realized. It is more beautiful than we had even imagined, and the workers were so happy to care for us. After being utterly crushed by a non-responsive company that made a come back! In the interim we hired someone recommended by a hack job handy man who is known for being a love ball but bad habit of Harry Houdini-ing when things don't suit him... Wound up with a county unionized average Joe (lovely guy but not this Joe because that guy turned out to be lazy, cut corners and not very good mowing, but I digress) - I turned to Yelp for recommendations. I wanted at least 3 quotes. In the meantime Tim Acton took over the lawn/landscape maintenance (they are the original landscapers for the property), and starting off on a better note. Very happy with them - so far - BUT after heart ache, getting quotes for work from more than one source is always recommended (particularly when they bother to SHOW UP!). Papa Joe is a super hard working guy, and delivers what he says he will. With an amazing personality and reasonable costs. Which makes decisions harder for me. So here's the deal: 1. He will be reasonable pricing. 2. He will respond, on time and communicate effectively 3. He will do what he will tell you he will. 4. Clean job and great pride in craftsmanship. So now, if I have to recommend? I am torn. Because both Tim A and Papa Joe are fantastic options. Now, lets see what the quotes for the staggered projects will look like. Because I have no doubt either will do an incredible job. I do know they both are for the long-lasting relationship.
