TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE. I made a reservation on Thursday for a Sunday morning pick up at 7:30 to take me to the Hudson Amtrak. I called twice to confirm this reservation and the woman assured me it was no problem. She never showed up on Sunday. I tried calling multiple times and nobody answered the phone. She called me back at 7:48 - at this point it was too late and I knew I'd be missing my train. I asked her where she was and why she didn't show up. The call was lost. She called me back and said "I just want to tell you you're a rude person" and hung up. I am horrified and outraged by this treatment. I would like to report this company." read more

Worst car service experience of my life. The driver was unsafe and didn't know where we were going even though we clearly gave them the address. We're lucky we made it home and without an accident. The experience was like being in a bad David Lynch film and not in a cool or fun way. Don't do it! read more

Legally speaking, it became kidnapping when the driver wouldn't let me leave the vehicle after announcing that he would be driving us FORTY MINUTES in the opposite direction of where we had asked to go, and wouldn't explain why. He kept saying he was "bringing us to his boss's house" and she would "drive us to Albany". They kept saying we would get to the airport on time, but we hadn't even told them when we needed to be there. I truly feel like something terrible might have happened to me if we hadn't finally forced him to pull over and let us out. We had to demand to be allowed out for several minutes and threaten legal steps if they wouldn't let us out of the car. We were left by a dollar general on the side of the highway with no alternative choices, twenty minutes farther from our destination than when we started. read more

The worst experience of my life! I had to visit my daughter's horse riding show with my little toddler and have been scared the entire way. First of all the lady has been extremely rude, not patient with the installation of my baby's car seat. She wasn't wearing her mask properly. I had to ask her to put it back 3 times! The car was dirty. She had two phones with her and stopped in the middle of the road to answer her calls! SCARY!!! She shouldn't drive! and should retire!!!! She is too old, tired and rude. Called earlier in the day to set up a late-night taxi ride from Windham to Hunter. Around 11:00, I called the company, and the company said they would be at the location in 20 minutes. Around 45 minutes passed, I called back and the dispatcher was abrasive with me, saying that the driver would be there shortly. Another half an hour passed by, after which I called again. The dispatcher said that the driver had gone to the location and waited for 5 minutes, and then left. I received no phone calls during this wait time. I pleaded with the dispatcher to send her back, and he said he would send her back to me after she finished her last run. He gave me the driver's phone number. I called the driver, who said she would be there in a half hour, but that it would be double the original price (which was $35). She never came back, stopped answering the phone, and I ended up hitching a ride with Smiley's a little after 1 a.m. read more

Scariest ride ever!!! Weaving and incoherent-I was scared for my life. Can you do negative stars???

I called this taxi service during the day to ensure that they would do a pick up around 11pm and a gentleman assured me they would pick us up... when I called I got the woman driving the cab and she said she was really busy but she would be there within twenty minutes. Needless to say she never showed and left us stranded for hours. After that her phone went to voicemail every time I called. Needless to say, she never showed. Can I give a review that is less than 1 star???!!! Is there a taxi and limousine commission in Greene county I can repot this company to? read more

Called for a cab and gave them my location, destination and when I would like to be picked up. I said as soon as possible since I was backpacking and my dog became injured and we had to cut it short. We waited over an hour, almost 3 in fact and the taxi never came. Thankfully we got a ride from another friendly hiker. If it wasn't a holiday weekend and there weren't so many people this could've been a real issue. Thanks for nothing majestic taxi! More like wretched taxi! read more

I used Majestic Mountain taxi for two nights for my wedding in the Catskills. They were amenable to driving out to Woodstock and Big Indian and had the best prices out of anyone I called in the surrounding area. I called a few months in advance and followed up via email to ensure everything was detailed in writing. I called the day before to confirm everything and they arrived on time and drivers were very pleasant. I would recommend them. read more

I used to use this taxi every day and I would completely recommend them to anyone. Their owner is very very nice and reasonable. Their taxi drivers are sweet as can be ! One of the taxi drivers knew it was my birthday and got me their favorite candy bar. They would bring me to where I needed to be on time. Some times they would even wait 15 mins outside my house when I was late because they knew I just had a baby. The owner is a sweet man and so are all of his drivers.
