No waiting at the cash register, even though it was a busy day. The bad: Very busy. Parking lot is dangerous (people and drivers not looking). Nobody sanitize their hans when entering. Probably a great place to shop and do groceries. Too bad the entrance looks trashy and no one sees the sanitizer station. What my wife and I enjoy and appreciate about this IGA is it is definitely the nicest a very enjoyable shopping experience plus well laid out and clean. Their produce although a bit more expensive than other places seems to be much fresher and of higher quality. Recently for Mother's Day IGA has always the best price and it's the quintessential start of lobster season $6.99 uncooked and $7.99 cooked). You really can't beat those prices. They have a wonderful decorative and artistic bakery offering up loads of sweet tooth delicacies and desserts. Beer selection is top notch with a walk in cooler for larger 12-24 packs. Price is a bit more than other places but bearable. Fresh meat section is of very high quality cuts and selection. A great time to come shopping is in the evenings as it's virtually empty.

This is a Quebec specialty and theirs has a tad more garlic flavour but is richer in flavour than some other places. Everything I've had here is tasty. Really fresh and delish. I definitely will come back to test a sandwich. Good sandwich shops are hard to come by in Terrebonne- Mascouche so I'm looking forward to testing it out. The owners are a couple French Canadian-Italian and you can definitely see the pride they take in preparing high quality food.

The woman there was quite friendly and the place definitely felt like you're going to a neighborhood small grocery store. The maple sugar pie was ultra sweet and the cranberry apple was sweet but at least it was tart to balance. The maple donut holes and apple pie were the winners for me. I believe the donut holes were made from potato flour so it was savory and sweet. Overall, it's a nice spot to take a quick pit stop and grab some snacks and desserts before heading back to Montreal.

They specialize in loads of different dessert pies a huge selection of apple, blueberry, tarte au sucre, fresh doughnuts and many many other offerings. These delectable delights are in the room on the right side when you enter. If you walk to the back area in the main building they have freezer section of prepared foods in various sizes and a huge selection. My fave are the chicken pot pies. They are not chalky and lacking filling as I've had with grocery store varieties. Their chicken pies are creamy and packed full of veg and generous chicken serving. I've also had their tourtiere du Lac St Jean and it was loaded with meat and a few different kinds of potatoes! They also have various tourtiere, frozen pasta meals, cabbage rolls and loads of stuff your grandma may have specialized in. It's Sunday night comfort food! All delicious. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable produce area and also lots of jams and jellies that are great to discover. They make a great small gift. These types of country stores are a real gem. Plus you are supporting a small business! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
