    So many possibilities!

I had read about this place before coming to London and wanted to make a point to go. On our last day we finally made it and are so glad we did.I felt like a kid in a candy store. Everything looked delicious. We got a pistachio, Black Forest, and Hazelnut eclair. The hazelnut was my personal favorite. I wish I would have bought more to bring home. We did get a couple of little free treats that's were like airy (not dense) doughnut holes with big chunks of sugar on top. They were quite delicious. Three eclairs and three drinks were around 30GBP.A little pricey but I would go back to try more flavors.

Delicious pastries. She threw in two plain chouxs with somrnpowsered sugar and the simplicity of hrm made them the best tasting!

Awesome presentation! Amazing raspberry and passion fruit eclairs, but I gave four stars because hazelnut and pistachio eclairs were disappointingly tasteless.

One of the most amazing dessert places that I have ever been to in London!! It is simply amaaaaaazingg. They're sweet but taste super delicious. I have been to this place twice when I was in London but I still remember how good it was.. I believe they have two of them. One in Soho. Must must try dessert place in London

Gah! Amazing! Delicious! We walked past this store and quickly popped in off a whim. Such beautiful designs - more like works of art than food! These are definitely not cheap but it's worth the splurge for an afternoon treat. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. We got the rainbow eclair and the royal wedding. Silly me didn't look properly at the flavours but the rainbow was a berry/raspberry flavour and the royal wedding a citrus flavour. I was just so happy eating these and so was my partner. I hope we stumble on this place again because I'll definitely be buying more!

Not only is Maitre Choux an adorable patisserie with delicious pastries, but they also have an amazing staff! I was here on a short trip and walked in after a rough start to my day. I made conversation with the staff and ended up telling them about my difficult day. They were so warm and kind to me. They didn't have to be as generous to me as they were, but they were anyway. They brightened my afternoon and were a true example of the Christmas spirit. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a sweet pick-me-up!

Not sure if it's because we just had eclairs in Paris, but these seem to be not as good. The presentation was spot on though and it looks amazing, but I felt like the eclairs were a little soggy. The creamy filling on the inside was good, but the texture of the pastry just wasn't right. This just makes me want to get another one from Paris...Also, this place is a little pricey so be prepared for that.

Cappuccino is amazing and beautifully made. It's perfect for a late night hangout. Oh the bakeries are awesome too although I don't have sweet tooth like others

A must stop if you're in London! Their eclairs are so gorgeous to look at but also so delicious! We were so stuffed after an amazing dinner nearby but couldn't narrow down to any less than 4. We figured we can always take them out in a box if we were too full to finish but we finished it and we're even tempted order more! The flavors are so good and not overly sweet. A perfect dessert to end a great evening or indulgent snack for pretty much any time of day!

You have to try their house tea and the sugar crystal covered puffs fresh from the oven. The staffs at the counter are extremely friendly and make you feel like home. Very limited seating, but if you can get a table and sit by the window to watch the Soho scene and be watched.

Amazing eclairs! Beautiful! Great service and a little piece of heaven!

The staff are very kind and the pastries are perfect. The salted caramel wasn't too sweet, and the pistachio was amazing. Do try!

Normally I wouldn't have gotten the chocolate one (it had mini chocolate chips) just because I didn't think the texture you work well, but because it is a chocolatier it made sense to at least try it. Ultimately, I do think the caramel and framboise options were the winners. They were delicious and moist and just beautiful. Don't get me wrong: I would never turn down the chocolate one, but when I go back I'll be going for the options (and possibly trying new ones).

This review is just for the eclairs - they are the best eclairs I've had in my life and I've even…read moreeaten eclairs in France where I normally live. The quality of the ingredients and chocolate are exquisite, but the downside (where I took off a star) is that they are on the small side and they are expensive at £5 each. They also sell a variety of chocolates (9 piece boxes, 16 piece boxes, beautiful heart chocolates, or by the unit. You can buy macarons in traditional flavors but my favorite macaron place in the world is Pierre Herme and they have more unique flavors there. We tried the chocolate eclair and the hazelnut one. Neither was overly sweet - it was just right. The texture of the cream was perfect too - it was airy, light, tasted fresh and not artificial, and was not too sweet. The bread part at the bottom was firm - not too hard, not too soft, and not spongy. The chocolate one had a raspberry/chocolate topping with gold flakes and it was just perfect. The hazelnut one was really unique, as I had never had a hazelnut eclair before but I love hazelnut anything. There were little pieces of actual hazelnut, the hazelnut cream was perfect and not artificial-tasting, and there was this powdered sugar crunchy thing on top. The hazelnut was a bit messy to eat/share, since the topping part was harder to break apart, but every bite was amazing. I'd definitely come back here again to eat eclairs. Note that if you want to eat here, they don't really have spoons suitable for eating/sharing - it's more like a small spoon to stir coffee. There's one table outside where you can sit and eat, but there's no seating inside, so don't expect a place where you can hang out and drink tea/coffee and eat your eclair. The eclairs here are fantastic, we came at the end of the day so they didn't have many flavours left, but they typically also have vanilla, salted caramel, and I'm sure a few others that escape my memory (I asked one of the staff what other flavours they typically have). I've overused the word "perfect" in this review, so just go here and eat some eclairs and maybe some chocolates too. I had a praline little egg and it was fantastic, but the eclairs were like nothing I'd ever have. Minus one star for the price, but I guess it's relatively cheap next to all the other expensive stores in Marylebone. Worth the splurge every once in a while and I'll definitely be back.

Marchesi wasn't on the list but on my two visits to Marchesi I couldn't help imagining her here either closing down the place with her entourage or queueing at the counter in dark sunglasses, waiting to order a pastry to-go. Being owned by Prada, this staple of Milan is the first outpost outside of Italy. As one would expect from both Italy and a house of fashion, the place is a design home-run. It's difficult, in fact, to walk by without declaring a desire to stop in as it looks utterly charming. Servers in green uniforms with crisp white aprons add to the charm and order of the place. But what's that phrase? All hat, no cattle. All foam, no beer. You get it. On my first visit here I ordered a croissant and a latte (£7) at the counter and enjoyed them from a bench in nearby Berkeley Square. But to take in the entirety of the Marchesi experience my next visit demanded I get a table inside and from this vantage point I had a more difficult time rationalizing the cost. The server was cold in demeanor, the croissant (£4.70) tasted less than fresh, and I couldn't rationalize the additional price (including 12.5% service charge) I was paying for such an experience. So I preferred Marchesi as a take-out spot. Still, if you want to imagine you're Beyonce in Mayfair, probably best to enjoy at least one morning from a table inside this highly stylish spot.

Inside, they have more pastries (including Danish pastries) and savoury tarts as well. They have quite an extensive eating area, so we went for tea and tarts; my friend had the blackberry crumble tart, and I had the pear and almond tart. Both were very nice indeed - my pear and almond tart was wonderfully fresh, not too sweet, but a lovely caramelised texture - a bit of resistance, but not chewy. Staff were friendly and efficient, happy to give advice on their products, and also to let us linger. I'll certainly add this to my list of places to catch up with friends.

So many choices from the Strawberry Fraisier, to the Paris Brest, Choux pastry (eclairs) Tarte au citron, fresh fruit tart, and the big Macaronde. I of course had to try the big macaronde and I was glad it was the last one, my friend opted for the Strawberry Fraisier. The shop is cute, tables and chairs in the front, they also have a large seating area downstairs, a bit more quieter, perfect for a catch up. They bring your desserts down for you and any drinks you have ordered. The service is efficient. My macaronde was a raspberry flavour, with creme patissiere in the centre, with a raspberry jam, and the coolest thing, came with an injected pipette with raspberry sauce which you squeeze into the creme patissiere. Was a bit solid at first to break, definitely need to use that knife, and crack it open, but once I got past that, was the softest, tastiest, not chewy either, full of flavour that jam, and the extra helping of the sauce made it simply sublime! I actually fell into heaven! My friend loved her Fraisier. Presentation is eye catchy, everything is presented so beautifully! A must recommend if you are in the area!
