Sweet Lee's Rustic Bakery was established in early 2010 in Saint Henri, Montreal, by siblings Liana & Greg Lessard. As the company grew, Sweet Lee's began supplying several quality establishments on a daily basis around the island of Montreal. From 2010 to 2013, the bakery operated from a small locale Saint Henri, Montreal, which was quickly outgrown due to demand and the team's new projects. Shortly after that time, Sweet Lee's relocated to 4150 Wellington, to a larger space, located in the heart of the increasingly popular borough of Verdun. The new space has 50 person dining room, and a summer terrace. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The pastries and prepared foods are all amazing and the presentation is impeccable....I had a nice fluffy tender bread bun that was very light and tasty. This is a great stop for a pastry, sandwich, cup of coffee or anything else....

Firstly, if there's a latte with Lucky Charms on the menu you can be sure we're ordering that. No regrets there, it was great. A delightful and beautifully presented bagel and chipotle chicken toast both served alongside a fruit salad topped with a delectable vinegrette we very much enjoyed. All that with a very friendly service. We will most definitely return to try the rest of the menu

The atmosphere was really nice with lots of natural lighting, real plants, and well palced decor that worked with their theme. Our interest quickly zeroed in on the vegan tarts, and the citron (tartes cru aux citron) absolutely stole our hearts. It was perfectly tart and not overtly sweet. We also tried one of the cupcakes and it didn't disappoint. It had a very dense cake-y mass, thus it was much more filling then the tart. Regardless, well worth the C$. Lastly, there's a few tables outside as well as seating indoors. Good for people watching. It's worth mentioning that the owner (who's name I don't recall) was extremely kind to us.

The merchandise was also quite nice considering it was pretty cheap! Side note: they also have a little "grocery" section where you can buy eggs and bread! They also sell their own coffee beans as well. We will try to stop by in person to pick up their coffees.
