We stayed here for a week this past June and generally liked our experience. We chose this hotel for its location in the 16th district which was close enough to the subway, Siene River, and Eiffel Tower but with a local feel. The price was fine. The staff was friendly. It was clean and quiet at night. We ate at the restaurant once for dinner and the food was good. It did have air conditioning, which our US spoiled selves appreciated in the 90F temperatures that occurred every day we were there. We would have given it 4 stars, but our room was damp with a smell of mildew. We think the room next to ours had a water overflow issue that may have flooded the entrance to our spacious room that wasn't dried enough before we arrived. Don't let that deter you from trying them out. The rooms were larger than the average European hotel room, good price, and great location. If we stay in the 16th district next time we go to Paris, we will most likely stay here again. read more

This is a chic little boutique hotel in Paris with an Art Deco feel. The rooms are elegant and a little eclectic with its deep purple walls, black speckled granite bathroom floors, gold accents and a back lit TV screen on the wall. Lush velvet curtains drape to the floor and frame a walk out set of doors leading out to your own little roof top patio. You get to see the tops of the other buildings and beyond. Although the room is quite small, the tall ceilings makes it feel more airy. The Maison FL is located just across the River Seine from the Eiffel Tower and the Champs de Mars park, and is near Trocadero with its gardens and the Palais de Chaillot, built for the 1937 expo. It takes about half and hour to walk over to the Eiffel Tower. It's also a short Metro ride from Passy to L'Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Élysées. We didn't have time to try out their restaurant but if we came to this area again, we'd definitely stay here! read more

Yes,Buyer Beware! I would like this business investigated by your company Tripadvisor, to protect all who may try to stay here. My daughter booked this hotel in December 2023 Roof top terrace suite with Effie tower view to celebrate our (30 HER) and (my 60 birthday). We saved for 2 years to have this experience for our special birthday. 10 days prior to our trip they sent an email which we have all documentation, that the site was leaking, and they had to move us to a family suite which would mean 2 bathrooms and a bigger room. We regretfully agreed as when my daughter looked for other roof top rifle tower views 10 days out of course they were all super expensive. Apparently, On May 12, while we were traveling, they sent another email stating family suite would be a connecting suite of 2 rooms??? We would have said no to 2 rooms as we were wanting to be together. When we arrived not to mention super poor service. They gave us our room keys to then walk in and find ourselves in 2 rooms. I called to speak to th general manager which she was incredibly rude. Stating we would like to cancel one of these rooms and only pay for one room WE DON'T need 2 rooms!!! She said too late. We must pay for this mistake/ Well while we are there and very disappointed, we saw people in the suite that was to be ours! We also saw that we were not in a family suite we were in 2 connections rooms Also my bed was not a king bed it was 2 twins put together with a sheet that was the most uncomfortable bed on earth. Coffee equipment broken overall a horrible stay with a roof top suite price attached the room we were in on their website was 325.00 again we did not need 2 rooms. Our suite was 625.00 She kept telling me this was an upgrade. It was NOT! This was the most disappointing aspect of our trip. All the other hotels were in fact TRUE 4 star and 5-star locations. This is fraudulently run down hotel. They lied and made us pay for their lies. If she did let us cancel at least one of the rooms as we stayed together in only one of the rooms, we would have been satisfied and still disappointed in the state of the hotel IT IS DEFINITELY NOT 4 stars. This hotel is 100% false advertising. I booking this hotel in December and was not told until 2 weeks before my trip that the rooftop terrace I booked was not available - was told I was upgraded to family suite for free - no other rooms with view of Eiffel Tower were available and was told this "family suite" was larger room with 2 bathrooms - it wasn't until 2 days before arrival that this "family suite" was 2 separate conjoined rooms. The manager is the rudest person I have ever experienced and unwilling to accommodate us for the hotels misleading advertising. The rooms were crap- broken window fell on me with not an ounce of care, the bathroom looked like there was bloody mucus all over the toilet room, one of the in room coffee machines broken the entire time even though countless requests to fix it. The TV channels only in French so if you are anything but French they do not care about you and are rude - the rooms that were "promised" were two king beds - only 1 was - the other was 2 twin beds put together. The website says the Eiffel Tower is 7/8 min walk away - lies - it's like 15/20 min walk away. Anything this hotel promises is a lie- they told us there were no other rooms other than rooftop terrace that have view of Eiffel Tower = LIE, the "family suite" they gave us for free was upgrade = LIE = paid for suite was derived standard room - tried to only stay in 1 room because the second was unnecessary but no trying to reason with the rude manager! Do not waste your money on this hotel! The only rooms worth it are the rooftop terrace that apparently are not available but when I was there- people were checking in and staying on the 7th and 8th floors and they "upgraded" us to a room on the 4th floor where you can't see any view! Just terrible service, staff that do not care all around, location stated on website is based on lies - it is a very inconvenient location - staff do not help you with luggage or transportation as well - just disturbing hospitality service all around. read more

When I figured this out, on the day of my arrival I asked if they had any rooms available anyway. They told me no, that I had books non refundable rooms and they had nothing available for the night. I went to another hotel and then looked online. They had rooms available they could have given me. Instead they opted to take my money from my August booking and lie to me about having rooms available this evening. They have refused any refund. Awful people. Stay away!! read more

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location. It's just across the Siene River from The Eiffel Tower. They were helpful before even arriving. They sent me an email about various things they could help me with and I requested a high floor. They accommodated me and I was on the top floor with a partial view of the Eiffel Tower. It's good to note that o my the best suite has a full view of the Eiffel Tower, but you could see it from my (large) balcony if you just peaked around the corner. The concierge was very helpful even finding us a late night (it was 10:30) restaurant that had AC (we went during the worst heat wave in recorded Parisian history). We got a second room for my children and they LOVED how big the room was and the luxurious bathtub. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for your Paris stay! read more

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It is simply off the charts in comfort and is literally walking distance to all of the sights. The Eiffel Tower is just a 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel! The Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées is roughly a 20 - 30 minute walk and the Louvre and Orsay is just about a 40 minute walk. When you walk from this hotel, it is not tiresome because the sights along the way are simply breathtaking and awesome. There are a number of restaurants around the hotel or you can eat in the hotel restaurant! The only criticism that I have is that the hotel should invest in face towels and consider renovating the bath tub. The tub is a bit high where you have to be very careful getting into it and getting out of it. I would also recommend a larger elevator. The elevator made me feel a bit claustrophobic, but I saw an elevator at the Louvre about the same size and began to think that maybe this is just a Paris thing. Other than that and despite the criticism, if I could give this hotel 20 stars, I would. The bed was more comfortable than any heavenly bed that I have slept in at any Westin Hotel! My family can't wait to go back to Paris and stay in the Maison FL again! Anyone going to Paris should try to book the Maison FL! read more

Had a great time in Paris largely due to the hotel stay. We were in Paris from 12/25-12/31. I had booked this hotel because it was one of the few that could accommodate the 6 of us according to many of the travel sites. I booked it via Booking.com and inquired about airport transportation. I received an email within 6 hours of booking from the hotel with information about transportation. Upon arrival, (around 5:00pm), we checked in and stayed in rooms (31 and 32). The family suite is essentially two adjoining rooms that are configured according to how many beds you need. We had 1 king size bed, 2 queen size beds and two roll away beds. There was still room in the rooms themselves for a couple of sitting couches. The beds were very comfortable and the linens, pillows and blankets were very comfortable as well. Each room had a TV, a mini bar and complementary water bottles that were replaced each day. The rooms also have multi-country power adapters built into the walls. The rooms had both air conditioning and heating. The heating seems to be centrally controlled while each room's air conditioning was individually controlled. By far, the star amenity in these rooms was the bathroom. Each room had a large bathroom with a separate toilet, a deep bath tub that could be used as a small pool, and amazing water pressure coming out of the handheld (or hung) wand. I love really high pressure showers and this was heaven! The towel rack is heated as well so the towels were always warm and the decor was great! Breakfast at the hotel is a little on the expensive side at 20 euros per person for essentially a continental breakfast with the added bonus of crepes. It is offered between the hours of 6am and 10am which is great considering the fact that most of Paris is closed until around 8:30am so if you have early tours set up you can still get a breakfast in instead of running around trying to find a breakfast restaurant (which is not easy in Paris at 6:30am). The hotel is located in the Passy area of Paris. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower (essentially across the river). The neighborhood has some really great restaurants (for families with kids). There are 3 bakeries within a block of the hotel and a groceries market a block away. We really enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to any family looking for a hotel with great amenities. read more

The hotel is centrally located in Paris and 0.5 from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is nice, the staff there are very kind and helpful. We had adjoining suites during our stay. The rooms were a modern contemporary design, everything was nice & clean. We were very pleased & would stay here again. read more

If I could have given this hotel a lower rating I would have. We stayed in the penthouse, which is supposed to be their best room. The floorplan was very strange and the tiolets were not close to the actual bathroom. The penthouse is basically two adjoining rooms. It has a small view of the Eiffel from one of the windows if you stand at an angle. The ceilings near the windows were low so the window could not be opened. The floor tiles on the balcony were loose and broken when you stepped on them and the drains in the shower did not work. This hotel is old and in need of repairs. The inside smells like vinegar because that is what they use to clean. The staff was not very friendly or accomodating when issues came up. The location to the Eiffel is the only good thing about this hotel. read more

We made reservation on line. We were told that we had no reservation when we get there. They let us stay after we showed them the confirmation email. Then they told us we couldn't park our car in the basement because our minivan was too big. In the mean time, they said I could leave my car in front of the gate entrance. About half hour later, they told us to move the car to an address which turn out to be 1.5 km away from the hotel. When I was about to move the car, 1 French woman and 2 Chinese started screaming on my face why I parked my car there. Now, i moved my car but I refused to park my car that far. So after an hour, I found a parking on the street. I told the manager about this in the morning, she didn't even apologize. She did tell me that my room didn't include breakfast :(. I don't recommend staying here. Really BAD service. read more

I had a great experience at Maison FL. The moment I booked I received a personal email from management/concierge asking about any needs I may have during my stay. From that moment in it was so easy to communicate with the staff. They sent a small survey which they really do check quite frequently. I think I sent my survey about 3 hours before my arrival and they were ready with the answers to my questions and any needs I had. My room was clean and had a view of the Eiffel Tower. I've noticed that some reviews mentioned small rooms. I likely had one of the smallest rooms and have not a single complains. Clean and as comfortable as can be - plus the most pleasant staff?! I must recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a safe area that's close to the metro, close to restaurants and shops, historical sights, etc. I will definitely be back. A wonderful 4-star hotel. Great if you need to be near the Trocadero or the OECD. Nice rooms with large bathrooms (for Paris). My only complaint is their obnoxious wifi system which requires you to pony up a thousand bits of personal information every day for each device you want to have online.
