    Proof of available room

Very rude service and staff. And liars on top of it. Awful people that give the French a bad name. Made an honest mistake. Booked online for the wrong nights. When I figured this out, on the day of my arrival I asked if they had any rooms available anyway. They told me no, that I had books non refundable rooms and they had nothing available for the night. I went to another hotel and then looked online. They had rooms available they could have given me. Instead they opted to take my money from my August booking and lie to me about having rooms available this evening. They have refused any refund. Awful people. Stay away!!

We had some skepticism when we first booked this hotel. It was in a good spot for accessing lots of…read morethe main Paris sights, but it was at such a low price, we worried it was not going to be the best quality. Boy were we wrong! The property has an old-world charm to it, but with lots of modern touches. The lobby is sleek and bright. There is a stairwell and an elevator, but the elevator is quite small so be aware of that and maybe make two trips if you have lots of luggage! The room itself was pretty average-sized, but large enough for two people easily. The bathroom was modern and a tad on the tiny-side, but we made it work! The most important things were that the bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The hotel keys have to be left with the front desk each time you leave, but it was never a problem for us. There is always someone there at the front desk to hand you the key back when you walk back into the hotel from your day out. The area is a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance and lots of great little cafes and shops right around the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe even when walking at 10pm at night back to the hotel from the tower. It is about a fifteen-minute walk to the Eiffel tower, and several tours and hop-on/hop-off busses leave from the Champs-Elysees so we absolutely loved the proximity. With how expensive hotels can be in Paris, I think this boutique gem is a great option for those who still want to be pretty close to the attractions, but not spend your whole vacation budget on accommodations alone!

I did my search quite extensively before booking my trip to Paris. I was looking for a deal since I…read morewas booking last minute about a month before our departure date. I went to multiple sites and looked at the reviews for hotels in the area. I came across the Eiffel Saint Charles and it was a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. This is a boutique hotel, therefore I knew it was not going to be like your typical American hotel rooms which are quite huge. The hotel itself was very nice, the staff was very friendly and courteous. They assisted us with restaurant recommendations, gave us tips on how to navigate the city and much more. The room was bigger than I expected. The bed was a mix between a full and queen bed. I would say smaller than a queen but slightly bigger than a full. Hanging flatscreen on the wall with French and English channels and language options. There was a smaller average size hotel closet and desk in the room with a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was perfect for two, all you need plus a nice shower. Both bathroom and room had views of the Eiffel Tower and street view. Honestly, I had a great experience our rooms were always clean and the hotel staff was excellent.

Courtyard by Marriott Paris Porte de Versailles - King Bed Room

This is a great courtyard that is within a short walking distance to the Paris Convention Center…read more It's got a nice small bar with bartenders who can make a quality cocktail and a solid whiskey selection. They also have a real sit down restaurant and not just the little bistros that courtyards in the USA have. I strongly prefer this format. The bed rooms were spacious as well as the bathrooms. Two thumbs up!

THE ROOM ‐------------------…read more+ King bed room was a good size for a one bed room. + Room was super duppper clean and modern/updated with features like LED-lit mirrors and 2 shower heads (one above and one adjustable) in the shower. + All typical amentities in the room - flat screen TV, desk, refrigerator, ironing board/iron, bottled soap, shampoo and lotion. + Bring your international outlet plugs as this one indeed uses the 2-prong Southern Europe standard. + Might be TMI, but I HAVE to mention that the toilet paper might be the thickest I have ever seen!!! It's 4-ply! Yes, it exist! - Oddly, both rooms that we booked here had no alarm clock, or clock for that matter, anywhere. THE FOOD --------------- + Breakfast is served daily, at a charge, inside of their restaurant. + Probably the BESSST breakfast buffet spread I have ever seen for a hotel breakfast - scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, smoked salmon, assorted cheeses, FRESHLY cut AND peeled fruit (grapefruit, orange, pineapple, honeydew, grapes), yogurt, oatmeal, assorted pastries, juices, coffee and more!! = Breakfast gets pretty busy with guests - especially on weekdays. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- = Hotel is located on a narrow, busy street, BUT conveniently a few min walk from a tram, bus AND train station. + Lobby is big and very clean with a bar off to the side + Multiple restaurants surround the hotel on the block. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ‐------------------------------------------ - Unfortunately, certain rooms (e.g., King bed room, Twin bed room) DO NOT accommodate more than 3 guests. We read about it on their website and called their hotel to verify and, at the time, an employee confirmed that we could book these rooms for our family of 4 since we had 2 very small children. However, when we arrived, the employee present stated that we needed to book an extra room since we had 4 people ... like whaaaat?!?! Due to the confusion, they heavily discounted our 2nd room, but, still, it wasn't right as we all could have EASILY fit into the so-called smaller room as we found out later when we began our stay. Unfortunate situation.

I heard about this place when it was remodeled, after being abandoned for so long. It's so obvious that a lot of money was spent on this place. The huge pools. There are two. One is indoor, the other outdoor. We were lucky, they weren't crowded. Towels and robes are provided. The indoor pool was warmer. On level -1, the Clarins Spa is located, as well as the steam room, sauna, fitness room and lockers. Huge locker area, which contains lockers, showers, changing room, sauna and swimwear dryer. Fresh robes and towels are on this level also. Our 'Executive King Bed' was spacious. It had a rounded window overlooking outdoor pool, full-size Clarins products, towel heater, outlets on both sides of bed, comfortable mattress pad, memory foam pillows, touch sensitive reading lamps on both sides of bed, separate toilet room and so much more. We felt a bit confused as to how to get from level 2, where our room was located, to level 0, where the pool is located. There's a specific elevator to use. Unfortunately, this elevator is also used by people trying to go to Rooftop Restaurant on Level 4. You could be in your bathrobes with non-hotel patrons wanting to go to dinner. We eventually found the stairs to walk all the way down. We felt that it was a bit circuitous to get to pool area. You will see when you get here. This place is bit far from the major Paris sites. But the Bois de Boulogne and Louis Vuitton Foundation aren't too far away. If you love swimming, this place is a must.
