I'd suggest you coach your team and perhaps stop spending so much time deflecting & challenging ppl's comments. Had I read before calling, I'd had known I would NOT want to do business with you. The piercer, a white woman with black hair, was unfriendly and came across as snarky and rude from the very beginning. Instead of taking my friend to a private area, she had her lift up her shirt in the lobby. She then had her sit on the couch, looked her up and down, shook her head, and told her she was "too fat" for a belly button piercing and that she didn't have the right anatomy. Whether or not someone is a candidate for a piercing, there is a respectful and professional way to communicate that. The way she spoke to my friend was humiliating and unnecessarily hurtful. My friend already struggles with body image, and hearing those comments from another woman left her feeling embarrassed and ashamed. Watching someone treat another person that way was upsetting. After leaving, we went to another piercing shop, where the piercer evaluated her professionally and completed the piercing without any issues. We were also told that the interaction we experienced at True Art Tattoo was handled in a very unprofessional manner. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend True Art Tattoo. We encountered rudeness, body shaming, and a complete lack of compassion and professionalism. No customer should leave feeling belittled over their body.

I went to moving pictures to get my nose pierced. The staff were very nice. That being said, they…read moremessed my piercing up pretty bad. They told me I could get pierced with a hoop (I have never heard of any piercing place doing this), and assured me it was totally fine. I wanted a hoop in the long run, so I went with it because if the piercer said it was fine then it should be fine right?? It was in fact not fine. I had a large irritation bump on my piercing for months. I went back to ask why the bump wouldn't go away and I was told there was hair in my piecing. There was not hair in my piercing. I ended up going to a different piercer who told me they should have never given me a hoop right after piercing because the wound will never heal correctly due to the angle of the hoop. He switched me out for a stud, told me to STOP using the saline solution as it just excessively dries out the piercing. Within a week of switching to a stud and stopping the use of the saline solution the bump was already almost gone. Once again, the staff were very kind. I'm not here to say never come to this place, but maybe just consider how they are potentially not using their best judgement at times!

(My arm by Chad is the Maleficent half-sleeve in the photos from 2014!) The shop is pristine & the guys here are goofy professionals playing loud music who care about making art on your body. You'll receive instructions on how the procedures will go and how to best care for your work when it's finished. I've gotten work done elsewhere on the West Side of Cleveland that healed like garbage -- that will never be the case at Black Metal. A serious gem about a mile West of South Park.
