We are so happy that we all went here and had Castro do our tattoo. We live in Las Vegas and the tattoo that I got would have been double the price than what Castro charged. Also his work is amazing and better than most of the veteran artist here in Las Vegas. I definitely recommend going here and have Castro do any work you want done. We were astonished that someone in a small city was so talented. We will see you for our next one, your work is worth the price of a plane ticket.

She messaged them upset and asking for a refund and the artist plus the shop blocked her. I've spoken with other artists in the area and showed them the pictures and asked for their opinion and advice and they said absolutely not and she should be pissed! Also said the artist who did it is now known to take on pieces he can't actually do just to get the money. I've been tattooed by the artist who did it and he has done great work but if your special is not realism don't take the client!!! Very unprofessional and I'll continue to spread the word!

With such great reviews, I didn't think that they would be able to accommodate a walk in, but they did. From the moment I walked in the door I was comfortable. Everyone treated me with so much respect and worked with me so that I could have exactly what I wanted. I didn't feel like I was being a bother when I changed a few things a couple of times. They addressed me as "ma'am" and were so respectful and kind. The shop is immaculate and decorated in a lot of 1980s movie and music material. Brandon (Octavius) did my tattoo. We had great small talk while he was doing my tat. Personally, I love learning about my tattoo artist, and how they came to do what they do. The prices are very reasonable compared to other shops that I have been to. I appreciated that they took credit cards, because not many shops that I have been to do so. When I am in town again for my next medical appointment, I will definitely be back. Totally worth the drive to Galion if you were looking for a clean, respectful, talented tattoo shop.

They told me I could get pierced with a hoop (I have never heard of any piercing place doing this), and assured me it was totally fine. I wanted a hoop in the long run, so I went with it because if the piercer said it was fine then it should be fine right?? It was in fact not fine. I had a large irritation bump on my piercing for months. I went back to ask why the bump wouldn't go away and I was told there was hair in my piecing. There was not hair in my piercing. I ended up going to a different piercer who told me they should have never given me a hoop right after piercing because the wound will never heal correctly due to the angle of the hoop. He switched me out for a stud, told me to STOP using the saline solution as it just excessively dries out the piercing. Within a week of switching to a stud and stopping the use of the saline solution the bump was already almost gone. Once again, the staff were very kind. I'm not here to say never come to this place, but maybe just consider how they are potentially not using their best judgement at times!

The atmosphere is very relaxed and John and Joe make you feel right at home. Their hygiene technics are second to none and will make you look at every tattoo parlor you visit after them with a different perspective. I had the pleasure of letting John put a half sleeve on me and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. He spend hours after work organizing my thoughts, incorporating my comments and putting together a piece that made sense and fit on my arm. He even worked me in in his down time to make sure I would get my piece done before I moved out of state John is a true artist and awesome human being. He will work with you, listen to what you have in mind for your tattoo and spend the time to make sure it is right before putting ink to skin. I am truly blessed to have had the chance to meet John and spend 19 hours with him putting his talent to work on my skin. It will be hard to find a tattoo parlor and artist that can live up to the expectations and standards that John has set for me now. If you are in the Ashland area and are looking for a true tattoo artist you would must stop by and see John or Joe.
