He has converted the back half of the bar into a comedy club, with weekly stand-up shows featuring the best comics in the southeast. It's not an open mic with a bunch of twenty-nothings telling the same joke about not having a girlfriend. The bookings are backed up to May of next year, with full two-hour shows designed to bring comedy lovers to Dade City. I found it impressive. You just don't see that sort of thing in a town of 6,000.

If you go to a bar you have to expect to experience some jerks every once in a while. It is a public place. As for me, I'm Hispanic, and the first day I went there, there were a few bikers hanging outside the door. I was a little hesitant to go in, but I did. And believe me when I tell you that I had one of the most pleasant evening of my life. Everyone in there treated me with respect, including those bikers when they came inside. Not to many places in Florida where you can see people of all races enjoying themselves together. The bartenders are young so they might not now how to react when someone gets rowdy. But I'm sure that if Eric H, would have asked the bartenders for assistance with the rowdy person they encountered, they would have gotten help. Also if Aaron G, is going to be paying attention to every persons likes and dislikes, he is going to have to lock himself in a closet. That bar is a public place open for business, and they are so friendly that they allow all types in there, as long as they respect others. Who cares what people decide to write on their shirts.
