I questioned the plain box truck as though the logo means a thing. Langston and T showed up and this move took 9 hours. They literally had to reorganize my storage to accommodate the additional items. These guys didn't stop for lunch or dinner, They never complained!! This was superior customer service on another level. Do not judge this company by the box truck! Their level of commitment and service is bar none. I would recommend them for the White House move.

The owner did not provide me with a copy of the contract prior to my move. Instead, I was given the contract only when the movers arrived on the day of the move, which did not give me sufficient time to thoroughly review the terms before being expected to comply with them. One particularly concerning provision involves the company's prorated billing. The prorated rate only applies when the moving time falls within five minutes of the hour. Otherwise, you are charged the full hourly rate of $125. I believe this pricing structure is misleading because a five-minute window is extremely limited, and customers may reasonably assume that their time will be prorated rather than being charged for a full hour. Additionally, the owner charges a fee for paying through Zelle, which was unexpected and concerning. I was not provided with a clear explanation of how that fee was calculated, but I have never been charged a fee to send nor receive payments via Zelle. The moving truck was also insufficiently large to accommodate all of my furniture and belongings. As a result, I was forced to leave some of my possessions behind because there was simply not enough room on the truck. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with my moving experience. I intend to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office because I do not want other consumers to experience what I experienced or feel taken advantage of by these business practices. I believe consumers should be given the opportunity to review all contractual terms and fees before their move--not minutes before the movers arrive.

I found Meyers by chance while searching online for movers who do small jobs. Their scheduler responded within minutes to ask about our needs, and said she could schedule next-day service. For a very reasonable price, Meyers sent two men with all necessary equipment. They arrived early, which is almost unheard of now-a-days, and were efficient, knew what they were doing, and took care to move things where nothing got damaged. All payment was handled electronically through the crew leaders phone (they take credit card, cash, or check). We were done within an hour's time, and there was no hassle or extra fees like larger moving companies charge as "minimums" or "service fees". If you need appliances moved, furniture delivered, or similar services contact Meyers and they can get it done.

Meyers was recommended to me from a consignment store down in Lakewood. I got three recommendations and they were the ones who called me back first. I had such a good experience with Michelle on the phone, who said she could accommodate me that same day! Unfortunately, I didn't need that quick of service, but she explained her no hidden costs fees. We bought a bedroom set and the store didn't provide delivery services which is why we were referred to a few different local movers. Meyers is family-owned and operated, they were going to charge me $150 for three pieces and $175 for 5 (there was some range in there). For the convenience, I decided to have them bring me all five instead of me having to drive from Plano just to pick up two nightstands. I scheduled it for a Monday and because I was traveling out of the country, Michelle communicated with me by text, which I loved. She answered all my questions and we scheduled it for a Monday delivery with a window of 10-noon. I got a call from Joe Meyers when he was about 10 minutes out, he showed up right around 10 with a guy named James. They came in to take a look first and I showed them where I wanted everything. I had a king bed in the space with a headboard that was already detached, box springs and a metal bed frame. I had nightstands in place and asked if they could disassemble the frame and move the nightstands and Joe said yes to everything. They took a few minutes to assemble the bed and were so careful about moving all the pieces in. They built the bed and then asked if I wanted the box springs in or I could just have the mattress - I chose the latter. They happily moved the box springs upstairs for me, helped me move one of the old nightstands upstairs. They put the other pieces in carefully (dresser and chest) and even moved my heavy plasma TV onto the dresser for me. The whole time, both Joe and James were pleasant and so accommodating and most importantly to me, nothing felt rushed. I didn't feel they were in a hurry to get to their next appointment - they made me feel like I was the only customer of the day (even though I knew I wasn't) and they payment was easy as they take credit card right there and you pay when you're done. I had used truck beds about 2 years ago to move and help me organize two 10x20 storage units. The help I was sent was far above and beyond anything I had ever expected. It only took the young men about 2 hours to complete the task. I was so pleased with their service that I tipped them 100%. So naturally I contacted truck beds again when I needed everything from that storage unit in Denton moved to Fort Worth. Originally I had set it up for monday, September 20th, at 9:00 a.m. in Denton Texas. I had sent Paul the information on where and when to meet. When I got there Monday morning, I texted after waiting for a while and Paul told me he was sorry he did not see the text for the confirmation until Monday morning. He said he could immediately find help for me and get it sent out, but I said no let's start fresh at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Confirmed. I had also told them that we needed to be completely done by 6:00 p.m. that evening because my storage unit in Fort Worth locks up precisely at 6:00 and you cannot get in. The doors are locked. I was there at 9:00 a.m. on tuesday, September 21st, again no show. I texted Paul at 9:30 and he was sorry, said he had spoken with them and they would be there soon. About 10:15 to 10:30 two young men showed up with a 26 ft truck, took a look at the storage unit, and said there was no way the two of them could get it all loaded. So they called Paul and someone named Jonas, and went to get a third man They physically got started at 11:00 a.m. now, this same storage unit that is 10x20 and had been completely packed and organized by my two previous truck buds in 2 hours took them 4 hours to load onto the truck. One piece was left behind in my daughter's storage unit because they could not fit it in. I gave the men the address to the storage unit in Fort Worth and ask them if they had brought lunches. As it was now after 3:00 they said no so I gave them $45 as they said they were going to stop at Subway on the way down. I asked Tyrine to call me when he was about 15 minutes away so I would be sure I was there when they arrived. Tyrine (the lead) called me at 4:15 and told me they were 13 minutes away. They showed up 45 minutes later because they had stopped at QuikTrip for drinks, and apparently took a wrong turn on the street to come to my storage unit. That meant we only had one hour to get it completely unloaded. The manager of the storage unit came out at 5:45 to see how much was left on the truck and said okay she would stay a few minutes longer. They finally finished at 6:15. I will attach pictures at the way they threw things into my storage unit. Keeping in mind that I'm 69 years old, I went in several days after and started rearranging myself. The difference I made myself in 3 hours is astounding compared to what it took them to complete this job. I was in contact with Paul several times during the day of the job. I had been told I would not be charged for the third person. I have been in contact with Paul and told him of my displeasure as well as sending pictures. Several days later as I was working I came across the cedar chest my father gave my mother on their wedding day in 1948, broken into pieces. I know they knew it had happened because all of my furniture had been wrapped in moving blankets and plastic wrap. This time the cedar chest just had one of the storage blankets thrown over it. I again called Paul, left a message and told him I wanted an itemized statement for the $948.75 I was charged. I also sent him pictures of the storage unit, and my mother's cedar chest several times. I gave him what I feel is plenty of time to respond, I have tried to call him again with no answer, so this is my review. I told him I would be reviewing you on Facebook, and contacting the better business bureau. I have many more pictures I can share, including pictures that I took after I had worked in there 3 hours organizing. He scheduled with me, no-showed at the agreed upon time, rescheduled for the next week (after I'd reached out), and then stood me up again. Both times the woman (a single mother) and I took off work to meet him based on his availability, and he couldn't even give me the courtesy of a call or message letting me know plans had changed on either occasion. This was a week ago, and I've yet to receive an apology, or even a response to my message.
