City Hall is a beautiful building and there is free parking at the parking garage just behind City Hall very convenient specially for town events. The event is highly organized and brings tons of local vendors and food trucks. I noticed about 11 food trucks including beer trucks. I tried some churros with nutella from one of the food truck. Beer mug $18 really cold beer! Vibrant celebration of Bavarian culture. Live music by the Brussels sprouts Polka Band. There was also a weiner dog dash race really cute and getting all the attention from the crowd. Nice to see the community spirit amongst our residents. Looking forward to next year's Oktoberfest.

The Coral Springs City Hall looks less like a government building and more like something you'd find in a brochure for "Suburban Efficiency Monthly." Modern architecture, palm-lined walkways, and enough glass to make you feel like transparency is more than just a metaphor. Coral Springs wasn't even a city until the early 1960s, when it rose out of the Everglades like a neatly zoned phoenix. It was master-planned down to the last cul-de-sac, with an official ban on billboards and a commitment to keeping everything clean, safe, and family-friendly. The city's motto might as well be "Order, Sunshine, and HOA Compliance." And somehow, it works. City Hall is the nerve center that keeps this beautifully beige dream alive. Need a permit? They'll help. Paying taxes? They'll take them with a smile. Lost in bureaucracy? Not here. The staff are polite, efficient, and shockingly human -- which in government terms is basically magic. It's the kind of place where you can drop off paperwork, discuss city improvements, and still find parking without needing divine intervention. The landscaping's tidy, the air-conditioning works (crucial in Florida), and the vibe is more "civic pride" than "bureaucratic dread." The most well-organized place in a city that alphabetized its palm trees. Coral Springs is one of the nicest, most well-run cities in South Florida -- clean streets, great parks, and just enough charm to feel like home. And City Hall is the polished engine that keeps it all running smoothly. In a world of chaos, it's nice to know someone's keeping the sprinklers on schedule. Bureaucracy has never felt so pleasantly air-conditioned.

The library was built to service the needs of the northwest area of Broward County. This library and the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines were built from a 139.9 million dollar bond approved in March of 19999. This library not only services Coral Springs residents but those who live in Margate, Tamarac, and Sunrise as well. The two-story Northwest Regional Library includes a 300-seat auditorium, computer technology room with over 100 computers, a teen activity room, a storytelling room in the children's section, tutoring rooms, small study rooms and conference rooms in the adult section. The children's and adults' sections are on two different floors. Featured outside the library is a 9/11 Memorial and a Martin Luther King, Jr monument. I love the Broward County Library system because there is so much to explore. The library collection includes best sellers, adult fiction, DVD's, audiobooks and CD's. It also has digital devices available for loan including Veterans HotSpots and children's Playaway LaunchPads. Its collection includes International language materials in Spanish, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Hebrew and Russian. The programs for children, teens, and adults are excellent here. They offer author talks nd educational workshops for all ages. You can join a book club, take a computer class, or watch a movie. Stop in to check out all the great things you can do here. If you haven't been to a library in awhile you might be surprised by how much they offer. Libraries foster a sense of community with their extensive collections, commitment to technology, and diverse range of programs. This library is a cultural hub for the community. Whether you're a seasoned reader, a technology enthusiast, or a parent looking to instill a love of reading in your child, the Northwest Regional Library is a must-visit destination.

It was a very large space with many organized shelves displaying a vast genre of books, dvds, cds, and audio books. There were plenty of computers, seats, and table seating throughout, which gave it a functional feel. If you want more privacy, you can request a quiet room. After picking up the dvd from the hold section, I walked around and chose a few more movies to watch. I wish I could borrow some cds, but my vehicle is not equipped with a cd player. Oh how I miss those good old days. Venturing to other Broward County libraries are interesting. Despite the world's shift toward digitalization, it is appreciated that the libraries are still offering their resources to the community.

This is the closest library to home and we have come here for nearly two decades. They have made great strides at keeping it clean inside and out. The books (including a Spanish language collection), reading materials and DVD selection is well organized. In addition to the 100-seat room for meetings, they have a computer room for adults with space for a couple dozen people. Years ago, I spent many hours there and it was quiet enough that you could flow in your thoughts to write. Moreover, they've added computers so more children can work on iReady and play educational games. There isn't a time I've walked in here that there aren't a number of tutors helping children and adults alike. The staff is helpful and there is a guard who assists them, which is an added bonus in the afternoons when the students from the nearby Middle/High School start coming in. In addition to the parking spaces in the front (facing Commercial Blvd.), there is parking in the side and rear of the lake that divides the library from the Tamarac Community Center. The Express Airport Inn, with a reservation through Global Airport Parking, was the most convenient and economical place for us to park our car for our recent 20-day vacation, flying out of the RIC airport. Pros: *As with all Global Airport Parking reservations, long-term parking at the motel does NOT require a hotel stay. *This hotel was by far the least expensive option for parking near the airport. Our total cost was $90.95, including taxes and fess. This does NOT include transportation to the airport. (see below). *Check-in was easy, and the woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. *Parking was plentiful in an outdoor lot. *We found our car in the same condition as we had left it. Cons: *We selected a hotel that does not offer a shuttle to the airport so you need to call a ride-sharing service or taxi (which increases the cost and adds some uncertainty about the time required to get over to the airport). We took Uber TO the airport at a cost of $15.44, including tip, and it took about 15 minutes for the Uber to come. Upon our return, we took a taxi (after a red eye flight and temperatures near freezing). The driver informed us that all trips within four miles are a flat fee of $18 (plus tip). Even with the added uber and taxi fees, this was still the lowest-priced option. It worked out to about $6.32 per day. *Most of the parking spaces were uncovered. We returned to a car that was snow-covered. *It's not clear whether security monitors the lot. We would park here again, through Global Airport Parking.
