It's someone you have to be able to talk to, someone you have to be able to trust, and someone you won't mind spending hours with! The process can take a while, so you need to find the right person. I've had bad experiences in the past with unmotivated real estate agents. I found a GEM with Kathy Llamas! Kathy specializes in distressed properties (i.e. - Foreclosures, Short Sales, etc). She has experience in this market - and nows how to handle the sales. We were looking for a short sale or foreclosure (to take advantage of the great deals in the housing market). Not only did Kathy spend time with us ensuring that we found the "right" home for us, she also got us in touch with a mortgage broker who got us an excellent interest rate. Her experience helped push our short-sale through the red tape - and got us into our home faster than many of our friends who started the process months ahead of us. I can't recommend Kathy enough. If you're in the market for a Realtor, be sure to contact her. I know that if I'm ever in the market again, I'm definitely going to be reaching out to her. It saddens me when a person's first time home buyers experience is overshadowed by a greedy real estate agent. The truth of the matter is this - Veterans are not appreciated enough for their service. Even more so when it comes to purchasing a home. If you or someone you care about is thinking of purchasing a home in the Orlando area I highly discourage you from this brokerage. They did not honor their fiduciary responsibility to the client, showed zero respect for the listing agent and basically tarnished a veterans home buying experience with their lack of moral conduct. Disclosing your client's personal information without consent, choosing to submit a verbal offer via text message because they didn't get along with the listing agent, and even fabricating their professional experience may be the norm for some..but it doesn't make it right. Nor does it encourage repeat business. The agent may want to consider spending less time fluffing up her social media and the broker should definitely consider a revision of their ethics training. To start, Luis who does maintenance around the area is very sweet and accommodating. He is constantly busy and working hard to ensure that everything is in proper working order. It's great to see him being friendly and social with all of the residents, and he does a great job to keep us informed in what is going on through the community. Shout out to Jason as well. He has been so easy to communicate with and has expedited solutions a lot of the concerns I have had. Not to mention, hearing future plans for building re-painting, social committees and events is very refreshing from the past management. I can tell these two gentlemen care a lot, and I'm excited to see the outcome of the hard work they are putting in to make this complex family friendly and enjoyable to live in!

PAUL the property manager is in lamest terms…read morean inconsequential liar who feels the need to treat less fortunate people like dirt & feels good about it. My brother&sister in law had a crack in their tile&what started to be a simple repair has now turned into a nightmare. Because they are mildly learning disabled, I handle most matters for them. Maintenance needed access to the apartment&we left three messages over 4 days, my brother also went into the office to ask Paul who said he would let him know. They both work a 4 am - 1pm shift&on Monday they returned home to find their bathroom torn apart with industrial fans running, dust everywhere&could not even get to their toilet. I left another message&hours later still no return call until I left an emergency message for maintenance who then had PAUL call me back. He claimed to not have any idea what I was taking about&acted as if this was the first time he heard anything other than a simple cracked tile was being replaced. Turns out there was a little water damage in the wall as well&they needed to demo quite a bit. Not apologetic in any way but said he would head to the apartment&call me back. When he arrived, he asked me what the problem was&they had full use of their bathroom except for the shower. He questioned why they could not just use the bathtub&was put off when I asked if they could at least move the equipment around so they could get to their own toilet. They entered without permission (lease states they must provide a 12 hour written notice). PAUL was unapologetic&aggressively began questioning my brother about what time they shower every day, minimized the noise the industrial fans make which had to run all night and were about 10 feet from their bed& said they can sleep just fine. They also have a small animal who could have gotten into the numerous small parts laying all over the floor, and was quite disturbed. Maintenance worked for 10 hours the following day and every time they had to use the restroom or shower they were given apartment keys to an upstairs empty place which I had to insist on. With their early shift, they are packing up bathroom items at 3 am to shower&come home&cannot rest because maintenance is still there. I have now left 3 more messages for PAUL asking for an update, my brother went into the office asking him to call me, his response- "I got her messages, I am busy&will call when I can". We were told Wednesday this would be completed&Thursday my brother came home to a box left outside of his apartment w/bath rugs& a shower rod for HIM to hang as a temporary solution. With a level floor shower there will be a ton of water leaking out regardless which can obviously cause more damage. When I did speak with PAUL initially he asked me if I wanted them to put my brother in a hotel but assured us they would only be inconvenienced for a DAY. Packing up&paying out of pocket then put in for reimbursement for one day seemed silly so I asked him to please take off the rent for the amount of days they were inconvenienced to which his reply was, "Ill see what I can do". The apartment is filled and clouded with dust that they are having to breathe in all week now and they did set up a cleaning crew to come in anytime STARTING at 10-5:30 PM followed by carpet cleaning Saturday 10am - 3 pm. With their work schedule, if a cleaning crew ARRIVES after 4 pm, they will simply get no sleep before work. We again asked for a bit of notice or a smaller window so they can prepare as well as for their animal but yet to get anyone to return any calls and when my brother goes into the office, PAUL now hides and has his team tell us he is not available and they will get to him when they get to him. Its unfortunate, that something so simple and small could have been handled with just a little amount of humanity and respect. A phone call and a bit of communication goes a long way and to now be the victim of an intentional power trip to individuals who are learning disabled in about as disgusting as it gets. Paul should not be in a position that allows him anywhere near people and quite frankly after reading the numerous complaints, seems HE is the issue everyone is posting bad reviews about when referring to management and not the staff themselves who seem to be very helpful.
