I wondered if the front door was locked during my massage, being in such close proximity. Maybe I'm paranoid :) My wondering ended as soon as the massage got started though. Marisa was excellent. She used exactly the right pressure and was welcoming and friendly but not a chatterbox lol. I had a lot of knots and tension, including some along my spine due to a past injury, and it all seemed to ebb away. I felt incredibly relaxed and practically like mush by the end. My skin felt very soft and smelled great from the aromatherapy lotion too. Interestingly, I'm usually stuffy at the conclusion of a massage, but this time, I felt completely clear. I'm not sure why that was, but it was a nice plus. The cost was reasonable and it's very close to my home, so it was super convenient. I will definitely return and will hope that Marisa is available when I do :)

I am really starting to feel the whole "I'm getting old" thing, so this type of massage feels more therapeutic than pure relaxation. I elected to try the 10 min acupressure neck/shoulder massage for $12 and it helped to release some of my shoulder strain that I've been feeling. I also tried the 30 min foot reflexology massage - they definitely use strong hands and got some good relief on my calf muscles. They also give you water and a towel to cover your face so that you don't have to awkwardly sit there and watch them. They have a range of options, anywhere from 10-60 min for neck/shoulder, foot, or full body. No need to make appointments - walk-in is fine. I'll definitely be back if I need a massage!

I have been getting massages from her every other week since more than a year ago (hahah, I know, i am addicted). I get 90 mins each time and love it. Because of the good pricing, I can get a longer massage than what I can get outside. Most of the time, I fall asleep during my massages BUT the best part is I can go back to sleep after she leaves! (because I am at home and don't need to be driving around after I get my massage) She does great massages overall, but my favorite is the head and neck massage. Honestly, I 've been to many many massage therapists and so far Michelle does THE best head massage! Specially when I have headaches, the massage can seriously be sedative! waahahha

It is a casual, relaxed atmosphere, no snooty spa vibes here. They do take walk ins but space in the Salt Cave is limited so it's best to reserve a spot. Be sure to get there early as there is a brief form to fill out and some Coolio salt domes to rest your feet on as you wait. These are heated and feel soooo great on the tootsies. You can shop a bit as well because they offer all sorts of Himalayan salt products at Oh So Reasonable prices. I really felt the whole place was set up to offer the benefits of the salt to others...not to gouge you for money. Staff is enthusiastic about what they do and more than willing to explain or answer any questions you may have. The woman at the front desk had us try a salt scrub on our hands. It was marvelous! There is a little fountain with rocks that you rinse your hands in. So Zen and beautiful. We haven't even entered the cave yet! Fast forward to cave dwelling. We were given blue surgical booties to put on over our socks, they recommend white on the website FAQ section, and a cap to protect our hair. As we entered the cave we walk through a thick, luxurious layer of loose salt covering the floor. You can scoop some up and play with it or move your feet in it like sand at the beach. No touching the walls or cave outcropping please. The ceiling is designed to look like a cave roof with lots of tiny stalactite formations surrounded by sparkling twinkle lights. The lights move from blue to green to red to yellow. Gorgeous and mesmerizing. There are several zero gravity lounge chairs to choose from including some couple chairs if you come with a significant other. Each chair is padded with a cozy blanket type cover and there are light, super soft blankets on each chair if you get chilled. The room was a comfortable temperature. They tell you to wear comfortable clothes. Other than the twinkle lights there are several salt lamps placed in cave nooks throughout the room and the cave wall is backlit. It's very peaceful and comforting. The ceiling is not so low as to be claustrophobic. Most any adult can walk upright inside. An attendant comes in and explains the basis of the salt therapy and what to expect. Each participant received two salt balls that were heated and could be held in your hands or placed behind your neck. I put one under a sore knee that had been bothering me. The door is closed and New Age relaxation music is piped in. You can hear the salt ionizer cycling but it is a soft sound. We were instructed to breathe deeply to get the best results. The salt ions are invisible. You can't see or feel them. There is no talking in the cave. 45 minutes later the attendant returns to let you out. Exit prior to that time for emergency only please. Water is provided and the woman at the desk talks with you about the experience. They offer package rates and private booth treatments. You can book the room for a private session with enough people. They seemed pretty busy as a group was there when we arrived and another was waiting as we left. I definitely recommend the experience. Good for respiratory and skin issues.
