I am a first time customer and my first impression was positive in every way possible. From the…read moremoment I called asking about my car to the moment I picked up the car, everything was great. My wife drives a Honda Odyssey and we've had problems with the AC compressor twice now. I stopped by a local Honda dealer and the quote I was given made me think I could almost buy another vehicle for that amount. Not wanting to break the bank, I sought alternatives. I was referred to Lewis Auto Air by our local tire shop. I called Lewis and was greeted by a very pleasant sounding woman. She said to bring the van in the next morning at 8:30 AM when they open. I dropped the van off and went to work. About 10:00 AM I received a call with a quote that, how should I say, made me smile. The quote was a mere fraction of what the dealer wanted for the same repair. I was very pleased with the quote and on top of that they said it would be done today. At around 3:00 pm I received a call that the vehicle was ready. We picked it up and the AC worked perfectly. It was a very pleasant experience in every way possible. The lady who had taken my call was very polite and pleasant, exhibiting manners one does not normally associate with auto repair. I left thinking "Wow, not only did they fix our van, they were actually very pleasant to us in the process!" Based on my experience I would highly recommend this establishment. You will save money vs. the dealer and you will be treated with respect and not like you are simply a source of endless money. Thank you for doing such a great job.

My brake light came on I refilled it and the next morning all of it is on the ground near my rear tire. Drum seals gone(?) so I had it towed to a shop that had some great reviews "Aarons on Spring park" instead of sticking with Parts only because they were closer to where I live now. Aarons calls back yes Drums are gone and the cost to repair $700+ brand new brakes, drums etc. Hold up guys let me call you back and i call johnny and tell him what they said to me. he said Rick you do not need to have all that done and the price seems a little steep. Let me give you a rough estimate. $320+ tow after all was said and done tow and all the total was $385.14. So my recommendation take your car somewhere else have them do an estimate then call Johnny. Odds are you will do better here. DO NOT LOOK for warm and fuzzy and be direct with Johnny he is a mechanic, No I mean a real mechanic someone that would work on a car reach over and eat a Krispy Kreme without washing. I honestly do not think you could do better anywhere in town my brother also goes here and has for years. Superb Customer Service. Absolutely A++…read more We were traveling home, still more than 6 hours away, when our vehicle broke down. While arranging a tow, we called around and were recommended Budget Auto Repair. After speaking to them, we were able to get our vehicle secured at their location even though they would be closed two hours before we arrived. The following day, our vehicle's fuel pump was replaced and finished at the close of business. We were an hour away, but the good folks at Budget Auto Repair were more than happy to stay until we arrived to pick it up that evening so that we could resume our travels. Unfortunately our vehicle broke down again the next morning when we resumed travels, and we were about 45 minutes to the north of Jacksonville. After a brief troubleshooting call to Budget Auto Repair, they arranged for a tow back to the shop and an all-hands review of the issue. The problem was identified quickly as a faulty hose that was provided on the replacement fuel pump. They removed the tank, built a better hose, installed the new hose on the fuel pump, and had us back on the road in the early afternoon. We were stunned at the absolute attention to getting the vehicle running, even though the issue was a manufacturing defect and not an oversight on their part. The staff at Budget Auto Repair need superhero capes. They are an exceptional example of customer service at its best.
