The cheese is better than good however the only problem is when you order it well done they don't cook it long enough. It is a very good pizza pie other than that read more

3.5 stars. Food looked good. Food smelled good. A little expensive compared to what I'm used to but options were very limited so we stopped in. No bathroom available so we actually had to leave and decided to just get back on the road and ate elsewhere which kinda sucked. read more

0/0 DO NOT RECOMMEND Called and ordered our food - they said the wait would be 40/45 minutes. Came to pickup the order and they said we had never called. Even verified the number we placed the order with...it was for their store. Staff did not try to make it right in any way. read more

The fellow senior lady making the pizza's and her young man assistant had a delicious pizza ready to go when we arrived. They made us feel welcome and even gave us some paper plates and napkins along with a friendly smile. Great service, great pizza and a great price. read more

Main Street Pizza - a delicious cheese pizza - Pizza Near Me - Manistique, Michigan

I called and they informed me that they were open until 10 o'clock and would stop taking orders at 9:30. I drove there and was informed at 9:10 they were not taking orders. I normally don't leave bad reviews but when you've driven as much as I have today, it's well-deserved. I passed several restaurants. I could've stopped and got something to eat. Thanks for nothing. read more

Sadly, Main Street no longer reigns supreme on the local pizza front. It's been up and down for years but we keep giving it a try when we are in town, hoping it's one of the "up" times. Our last visit will be our last for a while. We ordered a large pepperoni and there was one slice of pepperoni on every other slice of pizza. The crust had no flavor at all and was a dense texture. All around a disappointment both for an unenjoyable meal but also losing a life-long favorite spot. read more

Main Street Pizza - two slices of pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Manistique, Michigan

Came at 3pm for the 12-4pm pizza by the slice deal and was told they were sold out for the day. But then they said if I waited 25 mins they would make some more slices so I waited. Also ordered the Italian Sub with "everything minus tomato" which outside of the bread was disappointing. The bread looks nothing like the example on the website menu and It was clearly assembled using only sparse pizza toppings (diced ham seriously?) and missing onions, pickles, mustard, mayo. I took it home and doctored it up. Pizza was OK, kind of hard to screw it up but a couple of my slices only has like three pepperoni on it. read more

Main Street Pizza - Italian Sub - Pizza Near Me - Manistique, Michigan

I like to think of myself as a pretty good judge of pizza and this has to be some of the best pizza I have had in a very long time. We ordered a small Special, Cheesy Bread and a salad for 2 ppl and it was the perfect serving for us. The price was right on the money. We are staying on the north west corner of Indian Lake near Kitch-iti-kipi. The pizza was still hot and made the trip like a pro. We are not fans of greasy pizza and this anything but heartburn greasy. Great puffy pillows of goodness with both the bread and pizza. The salad was screaming FRESH. You have our vote hands down...now if we can get a regular delivery to Farmington Hills. We promise to tip really well!!! Thanks Main Street Pizza for doing an outstanding job!!! Big bonus - FRIENDLY PIZZA MAKERS!!! read more

Main Street Pizza - Over Cooked | Cooked Wrong | Still Good! - Pizza Near Me - Manistique, Michigan

Pizza was great and being from W. NY I'm kind of picky! Would have given 5 start but seating was non existent with 2 small porch tables no bigger than a pizza box and they had no plates or silverware. read more

We were up visiting from Holland. Got the slices for lunch. 2 for $3 and generous slices! Great flavor, cooked in old school oven with fresh mozzarella. We would recommend!! No picture, are too fast read more

We had a great pizza at a great price at Main Street Pizza! We got the Main Street Special, and would deforest it again! Thank you for the yummy pizza!! read more

I read the previous review and they mentioned the word #%it 3 times. After eating the pizza today I would have to say that previous reviewer has some sort of vendetta against this business. We had a 12 inch sausage mushroom onion. We wanted a 14 inch but were told the owner was not making them now which was weird but the pizza was good. We are from the Chicago area which of course has the best pizza but this place could hold their own. Crust was soft with crunchy ends. Ingredients fresh and plenty of cheese. Staff met us at the door and brought out our pizza due to COVID. Gentlemen giving us the pizza was polite and friendly. Will order here again. read more

Things have slowly changed there at Main Street Better pizza is to be had The 40 bar and grill is my Manistique FAVORITE now!!!! The cheese they use is amazing Main Street is always under cooked RAW in side To get a above average pizza ask for: Light sauce and well done read more

Didn't get to try a pizza. It's 2017 and they don't take credit or debit card. They also don't deliver before 4pm. Just seems like a poor way to serve customers. They were nice enough on the phone however. It's just a shame that their business model is stuck in the dark ages. read more

Ever since the owner and his daughter have taken over from Cricket, who has run this location since its inception in the 80's, the pizza is SHIT. The service is SHIT and the whole damned dump is SHIT. I would rather eat the greasy undercooked 40's Bar and Grille pie, drive all the way to Woody's Outpost and get their pie. Better yet is Jack's Fresh Market take and bake pie. I will never darken Main Street Pizza ever again. Not even for my free B Day pie. read more

I'm a little disappointed if this is the "best pizza Manistique could offer". It's just a take-out place, but I had no idea from Yelp reviews. We walked in starved to order pizza, waited for 15min after we paid, only to realize they made a mistake and hadn't started making our pizza. They were very nice to give us a free 2 liter soda as apology. By sitting there and eat high for 30min, I liked the lady who runs the place, but their food is below expectation unfortunately. Also they gave me Honey French dressing (very weird orange paste with some paprika, ugh) instead of the ranch I asked for.. Manistique seems to be short of choices for decent restaurants. There's a Chinese place next to Main Street pizza thats not on Yelp. They looked not bad. The front lady even speaks Chinese. That could be a good sign. read more

Friendly! We enjoyed our pizza from here. For a small town, this place isn't too bad. It had ample toppings. It definitely could have stood to have some more cheese on it. The sauce was also just okay. The people there were very friendly and engaged us in conversation while we waited for our pizza to be done. read more

They don't accept credit/debit cards or checks from 50 miles away. Not to mention I could hear the entire conversation taking place when the man asked if they could take a "non local check". The conversation was so rude that it made me happy this establishment is NOT in my home town (the chain is but not these particular owners). We chose NOT to order from here and to order from a place that delivered to our hotel without making us seek an ATM for cash... Because they considered our check to be LOCAL BECAUSE IT IS. Business lost in Manistique for sure. I am spreading the word to fellow local families who travel local and keep local businesses in business. We will NOT be ordering from Main Street Pizza ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you can't accept a check you need to accept another form other than cash... GET WITH THE TIMES YOU ARE BRINGING DOWN WHAT LITTLE BUSINESS YOUR TOWN GETS. read more

Very good pizza!!! I really enjoyed it, and you can tell it's genuinely homemade crafted. And the breadsticks were also delightful! There doesn't seem to be much in Munising when we stayed there but I'm glad they had this pizza place! read more

Probably the best pizza in town. It's not Chicago, it's not New York it's pizza and it does the job. Shop front was a bit unsightly but you have to think about the location before judging the interior. Cheap prices and decent quality. Not sure if she was the shop owner but the short blonde woman was a bit of an ice queen other than that it's highly recommended! read more

A few times i have called at around 10pm and no one would answer and tried many times and we would go by and they would be closed at 10pm when they say they are open till 12am. It was good pizza I won't lie... the guy making it, the tatted guy with a missing tooth was swearing and talking crazy while I waited another ten minutes for my pizza. I understand the UP has a problem with the lower state but if I come up there don't tell me "when you go back down there tell everyone the UP is the nastiest f*cking place you've ever seen. Seems like we get more and more of you guys every year." Trust me buddy tourists do a great deal for the upper part of Michigan and I'm from the same state and got disrespected. I'll vacation somewhere else doesn't bother me much lol let someone else appreciate money. read more

I believe the only reason this pizza place stays in business is because it's the only one in town! I wonder if the owner knows what incompetent workers she has working there! Second time I've ordered from there and they have got it wrong! They said we can make it right if you want to wait for five more orders to get done! I already waited 30 minutes. I just want a pizza with what I ordered on it! I got cash since that's all you take! read more
