Nearly a year later, the office attempted to charge my debit card without warning or authorization from me. The billing practices and lack of transparency felt extremely misleading. I would strongly recommend verifying everything directly with your insurance and being very cautious before providing card information here. I am currently attempting to resolve this directly and would be happy to update this review if the matter is handled appropriately and transparently. update: Dr Whitney has reached out to make things right, which I very much appreciate. He is a great doctor and don't believe he takes care of any of the billing. I would stand by the fact that you definitely should double and triple check with your insurance before doing any x-rays or treatments though, as he is ultimately not the one that habdles billing for those. Too hard of a world right now to get slapped with $500 you weren't expecting!

I have been feeling shoulder pain and headaches late last year. When I did my annual physical with…read moremy primary care, she recommended that aside from doing physical therapy for my shoulders I should start seeing a chiropractor. My husband has been seeing a chiro on/off for the past 2-3 years but I decided that we need to see a new one. I found Dr. Buchar and his practice, we started with a conversation and mini-presentation of how they can help, what we can do to prevent our symptoms from getting worse and daily activities that can we do to ensure the continuity of improvement. Our first meeting was discussing the pains that I have and they did an x-ray, I also mention that almost on a daily basis I will be taking pain meds for my headache. After a couple of months, I started to noticed the improvements. The first one to go was the headaches, I don't take advil anymore at night for the pain. Sleep was getting better and then the shoulder pain went away. There are exercises that Dr. Buchar and his team made sure that I do at his office aside from the adjustments. My husband has changed chiro now, he also started seeing Dr. Buchar since April and my toddler who is 5 years is also getting adjusted. I was scared at first to let them adjust my toddler but they have explained the benefits and their methodology. They also have a payment plan for those who think going to chiro is expensive, they were covered by our insurance and then the out of pocket was affordable. Scheduling is also not a problem, their hours are convenient for patients and not for the doctors. They don't force you to anything and they also have monthly talks about nutrition, heart health that are offered not just to their patients but to everyone who wants to learn and listen.

Let me start off by saying this.. When a person drives all the way from Downtown Chicago ( Navy…read morePier area) to come all the way to Naperville to see a chiropractor once or twice a week, that must mean HE IS GOOD !!! I've been to different chiropractors in the past but none seemed to really care for my actual health and area of concern. I found Dr. Superczynski on a Living Social deal. He had a chiropractic evaluation ( which is a great, i'll mention something about this later), one hour massage ( which was done by one of his partners Mike who is certified for at least 10 different massages, ranging from Swedish to Deep Tissue to Relaxation, etc.) The doctor sat down with me one on one, showed me my areas of concern and what they will be doing in the next few weeks to improve my spine. I constantly have upper back and neck problems, which is why i decided to find a chiropractor. Dr.Superczynski's evaluation consisted of two tools which none of my previous chiropractors used, and it scanned my body along the spine and neck area which then showed on a computer which area's need work. After a few visits, the bad areas have improved and i feel much better than ever. Mike, who is one of Dr.Superczynski's partners does amazing work and i have seen him multiple times now and immediately after a massage i feel more blood flow, i feel relaxed, and i feel like my muscles are moving more freely. I highly recommend Mike. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. His prices are also cheaper than competition. Mike also teaches massage therapy to students. You can schedule an appointment with Mike even if you do not need a chiropractor visit, but i suggest seeing both as they work great together and WILL help you solve your issue. In summary, i find this chiropractor very good at what he does and highly recommend him.

The adjustments also helped with other long-term neck and headache issues. Dr. Steve is personable and the office is kid-friendly. My only real complaint came later when dealing with billing issues. He is often short staffed without a front office assistant. As a result, claims were not submitted timely on his end and then he charged me late fees. I received my first bill 3 months after my first visit. Honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth...but, now I am desperate for an adjustment and don't know of another local office that specializes in prenatal chiropractic care for future needs.

From the very start, right when I called to book my first appointment, I was treated like an old friend, and the Office Manager, Jill, showed genuine concern for my concerns & symptoms. When I got in and was able to see Dr. Sterchi (the very next day!), he was also very focused on what was bothering me. At the same time, he actually explained everything to me, instead of using dumbed down terms and descriptions. That's always been something I truly appreciate. I left my first visit with a clear outlook of what our plan of attack would be. When I returned today, it only got better. I had NO IDEA I was supposed to feel this way! It's fantastic. Again, Dr. Sterchi was great and so is his staff. I'm looking forward to my next appointment on Monday. Sterchi Chiropractic was a recommendation from a friend, and now I see why! My only regret is that I put off calling for so long!
