There was a fire going under the portico which would be nice to be near on a rainy day. The prices are actually quite reasonable for being across the bay! I ordered the shrimp and grits for $28. The portion in my opinion was small, but out of the few shrimps I had they had a great flavor and good creamy grits! Be aware eating here will take up a good chunk of your time in Halibut Cove if you came on the Danny J. We were sat at 1:10 and finished at 2:25 and we were one of the first tables done. I would recommend this place for locals to take tourists out for day across the bay any day!

Still very good. For our entrees my friends had the halibut entree and salmon entree. I had the octopus. My friend said the halibut was the best he ever had. I had the octopus entree. It was excellent! Seared on the outside and tender on the inside. The restaurant is at Halibut Cove. The only way to get there is by boat. The 45 min boat ride is included with the price of the meal. Excellent service and ambiance. The owners Marian and Dave were very friendly, excellent hosts
